Clowns and Puppets have that Uncanny Valley look to them. When we humans interact, we use voice, hand gestures, and facial features. Clowns and Puppets do not have true facial features. They can be singing a song about Lollipops, but they also might be hiding behind their lack of facial movement how they could do murders like Charles Manson while singing the Lollipop song.

I'm not scared of puppets. But these shows make my brain hurt. XD I think the muppets and (some of) DHMIS aren't scary because they're not realistic, and they don't try to be. They're very cartoony.
