I’m surprised Brave Little Toaster wasn’t on here to the dream scene with the firefighter clown, the song with the cars getting crushed to death and had the Air Conditioner freaked out and killed himself.

I only watched that movie once, and I think that's because it was so unnerving. It didn't register in my brain, really, but I never watched it again. I should.

"I think women should have rights." I dunno it seems like nowadays saying that might get you banned in parts of the U.S as well.

Fear in controlled doses, i.e., through media like TV and games, I believe does kids some good as well. I loved Courage the Cowardly Dog and how utterly bizarre it was. Watching those older Disney films like The Brave Little Toaster and others was great. Also, that Fantasia scene he mentioned on Bald Mountain, I never found scary, even at a young age. I thought it was cool. Keep bringing horror to kids in a fictional environment so they can handle it should it happen in real life and they can beat up an ax murderer or something. Okay, so let's hope children never need to fight an ax murderer, but who's going to protect those innocent axes from being murdered if no one comes to their aid.
@livedeadman2 жыл бұрын
Agreed Jon! I think a lot of kids love being scared and on top of that they become more braver getting through it. Though That might just be a boy thing haha
@jonhummel43412 жыл бұрын
@@livedeadman I think it's also in part the environment we grow up in and what we're exposed to, so I think boys and girls both can love horror, but I do tend to think it slants more towards a boy thing.

The banshee did howl. It's just not very loud. If I think on it, the donkey scene did bug me a tad, but what really freaked me out was MONSTRO. The fact that whenever someone said his name, all the fish would swim away in terror, how huge he was, and those teeth! I still hate him to this day. My other fear isn't talked about as much, but The Fox and the Hound used to be my favorite movie, but there was one part that always got to me. Near the end of the movie, the hunter runs into a bear, and that bear is the scariest thing I've ever seen from Disney. It had huge teeth and red eyes and was taller than the freaking trees! It was like a kaiju! I'm grown up now, but I still hate Monstro, and I still hate that bear even more. 😖

Here's a fun fact. Willy Wonka's behavior in the tunnel scene was completely improvised. So the other actors, including the children, thought that Gene Wilder was actually going insane. XD

The fact is there was a part in that Night on Bald Mountain scene he couldn’t show where a demon flashed a pair of boobs.

Ryan, you need to react to the generation 3 Pokemon honest trailer names! as for Crybaby Lane, it's nothing special. just basically a movie-length episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark. it can be found on youtube

Pinocchio got me as a kid. Although I am curious for the new live action remake how they will go about doing that whole Pleasure Island scene. And that Judge Doom one got me to.

It wasn't so much a cartoon or movie that got to me, but an album cover. Back when The Rock Afire Explosion was a thing. They had covers of various songs I believe. My parents had a cover of The Beatles, with the bear's face plastered on one side. Even to this day, that face still gives me the creeps.

Hahaha it's crazy how something will just creep you right out. For me it was Burt and Ernie sleeping haha
