Excellent review! Thank you for actually cleaning dirty things instead of perfectly clean things . Looks pretty good ! Use straight 3% peroxide on your grout . Let it sit 10-30 minutes. Then scrub with the Ryobi. It’ll be clean as new . I cleaned a rental house that had to be SPOTLESS between guests . But the grout got dark on me despite my relentless cleaning. Good ol peroxide to the rescue. It went from brown back to white . Thank you for the video 😊

They work great. I have the hand held and the long handle one. Just don't press down hard on the brush head, let the brush do the work. If you press too hard you will break the internal mechanism. I broke broke my first handheld and my first long handle ones before I learned not to press down hard on the heads. I lent my second long handle one to a friend...I forgot to warn him not to press down hard on it so he broke that one. Ryobi needs to make the internal mechanism more robust on their 2.0 version.

It’s infuriating to me on multiple levels that the telescoping scrubber isn’t literally just an add on attachment for a regular one, but something that’s a ridiculous 2ndary product /price bump

One thing maybe to think about is, if you use detergents, degreasers, etc., is to wear some kind of mask, maybe like a drywall dust mask. I was cleaning the outside of my mobile home of mold with a degreaser type cleaner and, not even using a power scrubber, I could feel the droplets or mist coming off the brush as I scrubbed. I did not wear a mask, thinking, "Oh, I'll just hold my breath when I feel the moisture coming my way." I did get sick, however, and was down for a few weeks.

When I use my power scrubber brushes, in between jobs, I just rinse them well and soak them in regular water. After they soak, I pull them out and let them air dry. If they are greasy, I will clean them with degreaser and a little bit of dish soap. Then rinse them well soak them in plain water 30 minutes, then rinse and dry. If they aren't cleaned enough I will repeat the process.

I have a ryobi telescoping scrubber. It broke down the second time I used it. not recommending this product. it is pure garbage
@rayfriedman96252 жыл бұрын
I remain unconvinced. None of the tools appear powerful enough--they barely kept up with you "babying" them through the unlikely tasks you chose to demonstrate. And worse, most of those jobs could arguably have been completed just as well, and certainly FASTER with a brush and rag, BY HAND! Round scrubbing brushes of all sorts are commonly available to fit the 18v or better drills most of us already own. Wake me up when Ryobi designs cleaning tools that work better and faster than I can with the tools I already own. I have no appetite for tools that kind'a sort'a work.

Thumbs down for not letting us hear the motor as your pressing down on it, this is the 2nd video in a row that did this. This gives us a better idea of how hard the motor is working & how powerful it is while scrubbing, but you robbed us of that perspective.👎

Clearly, cleaning isn't something you personally do yourself. Nothing against Ryobi I have lot's of their tools but these scrubbers are to be kind, toys. A large sponge, and different hand held scrub brushes would to a better job and cost pennies in comparison. Hope Ryobi is paying you well to shill for them.
