Chinese are Mongolian race but Khasi jaintia community are from ancient mon Khmer a austric race.Nartiang Durga mandir was not satipeeth, the original satipeeth is at kaljor of Baurbhog village ofJaintapur pargana in Sylhet dist. of undevided India (present Bangladesh).There is another shaktipeeth/satipeeth popularly known as Shri Saila shaktipeeth situated at Gotatikor near Surma river in sadar Sylhet of present Bangladesh.
