Was she not born in the UK in the 70s? So this was before the rules changed which means she was born a British subject (we are all subjects not citizens). If this is the case how can she be legally banned? Also if her citizenship which she was born with, is revoked, will that not leave her stateless, which is illegal. Shamima Begum is a different case in that her parents were from Bangladesh I believe so she takes their nationality, as she was born well after the rule changes.
