Just found your channel. Thank you for letting us know that Paris Mountain has rv camping. I was always under the impression it was only tent camping. By the way...HSAS. Great supergroup.

WE HAVE A WINNER!!! It only took two years, but somebody finally names the band and wins the cardboard cookie prize!!! 🥳🎉 Hey, in all seriousness, thanks for watching, and we're glad we provided some info for you. Y'know, we have a bunch of other videos could check out, too... 😜

Looks like you made the most of the short, wet weekend. I'd be interested to see that park in spring or summer.

So would we!!! LOL! Thanks for chiming in!

We love that part of Greenville, went there last year and did the hikes around the lake w 2 kids and we all had fun.

Oh, yeah - that lake-loop trail would be the kid-friendliest. We'd like to go back sometime and try one of the more "advanced" trails. Thanks for watching!

Great video. Looks like a neat place. I dig that bicycle station!

Thanks a bunch! I sorta felt like Country-Come-To-Town when I saw that - I'm sure it's incredibly common at parks where mountain biking is popular, but it was sure a new thing to me!

The Canon backpack... GREAT choice! Went thru several other bags.. been using mine for the past 2 years, LOVE my Canon backpack!!

Yeah! Better still, I got a super deal on it - if I remember right, it was fifty bucks at a Best Buy last year. It was the last one they had, and I wonder if it was mis-tagged somehow. It's great, but I've already just about outgrown it!

The pull-tab on one of my zippers keeps coming loose. Other than that, the bag's holding up really well.

😂 great video! We don’t end up eating on travel days either 🙈 something we are working on as part of our move checklist for sure. Looks like an awesome campground...adding that to our list.

So glad you liked it! Yeah, "travel diet" is part of our Living-and-Learning process - definitely have to plan travel-day meals better!

Us too! yikes - I get so hangry by the end of the drive and then we have to set up and get the cats acclimated... I just want food!

Thanks for sharing... Been on a bunch of trails and have never seen a "bat box"!

Yeah, that was new to us, too. Here in SC, there are gourds all over the state set up in parks and on farmland for birds, so I was surprised that I'd never run across those before. One of the reasons we call the channel "Live 'n' Learn!"

Looks like you had a great time!! Good job on the video! Do you have ice now? Lol.
@LiveNLearnRV6 жыл бұрын
Unbelieveably, yes! Ice maker mysteriously started working again two days after we got back home. I'm convinced household appliances run on some kind of sorcery...

Thank you for the video, I plan to go there this summer

Glad you liked it! We'd definitely like to go back when we have more than a weekend... and when there's some warmer weather!

You were less than 2 miles from us! Hope you will come back! Go up to Travelers Rest.?..great restaurants there. If you like BBQ, please try Whistle Stop....yummmmmm. You will not be disappointed. We eat there often.

We certainly would love to do Paris Mountain again for longer than just a weekend, but Heaven knows when we'll get around to it. New barbecue to try might just be the motivating factor, though!! Thanks for watching!

What was wrong with your house refrigerator? Glad you had furnace in your trailer. The roast looked real good! The hike looked fun and singer was good. Nice you had fun even in the rain. How did it work out with going to Walmart to get something for the breaks? Well stay safe.
@LiveNLearnRV4 жыл бұрын
Our ice-maker had mysteriously stopped working, but it just as mysteriously started up again a day or two later. Go figure... 🤷🏼♂️ The brake situation was no biggie - the brake controller inside the truck just needed a "tweak." Thanks for watching!

B-role shots were cool and so was the temp, lol state park with a paved area is nice.
@LiveNLearnRV6 жыл бұрын
Thx! Yeah, we weren't expecting temps that cool when we planned the trip, but once we got there are starting rolling with the late-fall-ish weather, we kinda got into it!
@larrysmoak10035 жыл бұрын
Sadly, the last four months of the year was probably not the best time to buy your first RV and get into camping. The weather being so unpredictable in fall and winter can really turn off folks to camping.
@LiveNLearnRV5 жыл бұрын
Hindsight being 20/20, you're probably right, but now that "camping season' is almost upon us again, we figure we've already learned how to "rotten-weather camp." Camping in proper weather should be a breeze now!
