California APPRECIATES each and every single one of these inmate fire crews. They works so hard just like every other firefighter that protects our homes with every single fire that comes our way.

This is dangerous journalism. She could have done her job from a safe distance. Besides it’s not only her getting in the way for of the firemen it’s her cameraman and sound man at lest 3 people getting in the way. She should have never taken even a second to ask 1 of them a question. Very disappointing!!

It's called a BACKFIRE, LADY! It does NOT "blow back the other way"! 🙄 That ONLY happens if the wind shifts! A backfire REMOVES THE FUEL in front of the active fire, so that the fire has no more fuel to burn.

These inmates have a great opportunity to get out of jail and work. To do the same work the US forest service does at $20 an hour. It doesn't matter what they make, the opportunity is great for them to get out of jail, get outside, see other people, and work hard, gain valuable experience, that will turn into another job once they're out if they take the right path. They are doing the same job as the fourth service. It's real simple, you wanna volunteer and your low risk, you can try to get on one of these crews. If you don't wanna work and don't wanna do it you don't have to. This is a job, one that many other men and women do and do not make enough money doing it that are not in jail. This is an opportunity for them

@lugiamastero136 күн бұрын
Its actually not stupid these burns are controlled to burn specific areas that would disrupt the fires from spreading even further it essentially makes a burn line that once the main fire reaches it it no longer can cross it and continue burning
