Fun fact: the limbic system (fight or flight) responds quicker than how long it took her to react. She had time to process and then decide how she wanted to behave. For instance: someone slams a door behind you to scare you-you don’t have to compute that in your head, your reaction might be to jump, scream etc. it’s instantaneous. She seen him, waited, then ‘was scared’. Too much time passed for it to be a genuine reaction.

Couldn't agree more. Another thing that's crazy is how she's made so many accusations against Johnny about physical abuse, yet when the "proof photos" come out, you see little to nothing on her face. Honestly, I'm agreeing with what a few others have said, which is in one photo looks like an irritation from botox injections. She really can't be serious right? I think she was earnestly trying to remain neutral and not imply negative behavior on Heard but the questioning finally got to the brass tacks and she had to admit the gaslighting behavior of Ms. Heard. She is verfying the classic signs of a controlling partner instigating fights and creating an atmosphere of fear and anxiety. Chasing someone around from room to room is the sign of an abusive person. If she was fearful of Mr. Depp, this would not be the case. You do not chase someone who you fear will beat or hurt you. She was trying to get him to respond with violence, to have the upper hand, but Depp kept retreating. He was in a no win scenario with her at all times, fear of being labeled the attacker, and knowing that any retaliation would paint him as a monster.

@K. Littleton a lot of victims of IPV are like that though. They seem to never leave their partner and when they do for some reason they’re back together, generally for fear reasons I assume. Ive never been involved in IVP in any way myself but have met faaarrrr too many people who are victims of abuse and out of all the ones I know with the experience, only 1 was finally able to get out, and even after they finally got out he came back and tried to end her life but failed. I’m sure Johnny wouldn’t have ever married her if he didn’t genuinely believe they could have been something good together.

I will say, as someone with BPD. It's hard to let go of someone I've loved. My ex was abusive and I stayed. I fought to stay in the relationship because I was afraid to be alone. SO IF I ACTUALLY BELIEVED SHE HAD BPD AND WAS ABUSED, that's actually common among people like me. I don't believe she was abused and I don't believe the BPD. HPD definitely. BPD is exhibited by impulse behavior and fear of abandonment just so that you know.

I make very thorough charting and if I were that nurse caring for Mr Depp, I'd certainly remember if I went to a meeting with a psychiatrist especially when she indicated he "was truthful" with examiner. We are not talking about a nurse in a hospital setting whom takes care of hundreds of patients a month for years on end. She worked directly for Dr Kipper and JD for a very nice salary. She seems to not be completely forthright IMO.

He made claims about AH's father intimidating potential witnesses. The man claims to have interviewed over a hundred witnesses in attempts to find dirt that could be used by AH. Despite going back decades into JD's past, he never could find the dirt on JD. He recalls an incident when the father, extremely upset, mentioned the violence he wanted to inflict on JD, including inserting a bottle into JD's body cavities. Her Dad went on to vehemently insist there was no way AH could lose the lawsuit, as he was expecting his cut. Remember, JD was quite generous to family and friends of AH. They saw JD as their cash cow...and little else.

Attachment theory, trauma. Trauma bonding. The core wounding, subconscious programming, in childhood is powerful. We are drawn in (subconsciously) to people who reflect back that wounding. To people who feel "familiar"...root word means family. Johnny had an angry, raging, mother. His imprint for "familiar" was set. Amber fits it to a T. Of course, it's sneaky and insidious...not apparent at first. Also, those with childhood trauma, core wounds, learn to discount their own perception...their red flag meters are also not fully functional. They don't pick up on all the red flags, due to being around people who they depended on having such "red flag" behavior, that it was normalized, per a young, developing mind. It takes a long time, to get out of the fog...and wake up, heal, see what reality is.

I agree with @Patricia Araujo. I am a retired RN and we were educated re how to respond if we were ever called to testify in court. An "I don't recall" is the perfect response. This nurse was clearly in control of the questioning. The notes were available to both but if she were to say she remembered the incident in question AH's attorney would have bagered her for more information. In the medical field you can't remember minutiae of every encounter. This nurse shut down the attorney which helped JD. She reported how AH "followed him from room to room and didn't give him any space." That's not making AH look good.

However there are those times that things stick with you whether it was a really bad trauma and you lost someone young or something that just stands out. This nurse has a very high profile client who was living in what sounds like a crazy situation and I find it hard to believe that she doesn't at least remember some things better than what she claims. In her defense though she seems to have documented thoroughly we both know that that isn't always the case

There are women who deserve all the support and love we can muster, But Ms. Heards claims are now very much in doubt. The testimony of witnesses, the lack of real tangible evidence beyond a few photos that are not convincing (bruises don't disappear like that) it's clear that she has exaggerated and simply lied about the relationship and her behavior within it... this nurses testimony really just adds even more weight... what person suffering abuse chases their supposed abuser from room to room instigating a fight? That's not normal at all.

When you’re nervous and generally someone who practices a healthy detachment at work, you can easily block specific details. Writing is so you don’t have to burden your mind storing them up. And being accurate with treatments and care when needed. It’s better & more truthful what she says than making up stories while nervously reaching for memories. Most people ‘think they remember everything’ but details are generally vague at best.

I'm over 6 minutes into this nurse's testimony and I'm heading that she recalls very little. In my job, i also very subpoenaed to testify in court. It also can be years later but I rely on my notes to hopefully recall the interactions. I still may not but it does certainty help me to report my observations in court when referencing my documentation. I'm hoping this gets better but at this point in time, i am not certain this witness is helpful to the plaintiffs case. Maybe it improves. 🤔

It amazes me that as an RN her memory is so bad especially when it comes to the australia fight between AH and JD. AH severed JDs finger tip by throwing a big bottle of vodka at him. Dr kipper and RN Debbie saw the aftermath of that attack. I listened to the recording of that aftermath that involved Dr Kipper RN Debbie. Ben the house manager/security (and he found the finger tip) Also present was Sean and two other security men. How on God's green earth did she forget that?!!.. AH destroyed that house. JD did damage too. JD threw a bottle through a window and spread blood all over the house and furniture. But JD didn't harm AH. her story of S/A by JD with a bottle is pure lies. Her theatrical performance on the stand wasnt believable..

I wonder what she's so scared of that she refuses to just tell the truth of her experience. If its losing her career I think not sharing what she knows will hinder it more than it would if she actually had the guts to just flat out say what she witnessed because its VERY clear she is withholding information. Atleast she did confirm that Amber is the instigator. Abusers are the ones who don't want you to leave and the abused are the ones who try to escape.
