A section on Emergency Medicine would make a perfect set. I cannot think of anything else that was not covered! Great job Dr. Bolin! Thank you for all the videos!

Cheers for this, I have been researching "take cause fatty liver disease" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Jeyebastian Venlena Blaster - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my neighbour got excellent success with it.

I don’t think itching is worse at night with ICP simply due to lying down and not being busy. I will start itching badly in the evening whether I’m in bed or out visiting people. It’s not just when I have the time to notice the itch. It can also wake me up out of sleep. I am absolutely not focusing on the itch while I’m sleeping.

Can you open up the option of donating 1 time on your patreon please? I prefer to make a donation like that and I think some people would also want that option too. Not having that may prevent people like me to contribute to your work.

How do I get blood tests done from my doctor to make sure I dont have liver issues. They keep saying drink water keep feet elevated and minimize salt intake. I have done all they said and my hand are swelling worse, tired all the time, feet and hands are itchy. They just brushed it off. Oh and ketones in my urine.

Thank you so much Dr Paul , there is a point I did not quite get though, why do we have to wait until 36weeks of gestation to deliver the mum if symptoms of intrahepatic cholestasis started at 34 weeks of gestation ?

I was one of these unlucky expecting mothers.. I was miserable itching mess. This was 20 years ago and there was nothing I could find to educate me on my condition.

How did everything turn out for you? My enzymes are high, trying to get information
@heatherrussell71904 жыл бұрын
@@la3380 I was diagnosed at 35 weeks with Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy. We underwent 2 amnios before I was induced at 36 weeks with my first son. Born healthy. My 2nd son I took antigall medication and itched less. My labs were back to normal shortly after deluvery, but they were so high my doc couldn't believe it. Also I lost 4 babies before I carried my first son.

Heather Russell I’m sorry you had to go through that. My liver enzymes keep coming back high and I’ll be 20 weeks in a few days ... I don’t itch per say, my hands do on and off for years though... this is my first pregnancy and everything seems normal. I feel fine. If it wasn’t bc my doctor has taken labs 3 times and now sent me to a Hepatologist to do further exams I wouldn’t know or notice anything was wrong ... I’m so scared 😟
