Here I show you how to identify the segments of the liver on CT scan. I will use an axial CT to demonstrate the eight segments of the liver. Segmental liver anatomy is crucial knowledge in radiology - and it's easy to remember!
We will use the inferior vena cava and the portal vein to divide the liver as described in the Couinaud classification.
