Dr. Dan, been rewatching your old cancer videos and it makes me feel so sad that you were so optimistic that tumors were shrinking, even though you were told of your survival rates with stage four colon cancer. I’m not sure how you felt about your future in this video, but you did mention that you “could still live a long life” in the video that precedes this one, dated December 19, 2021. You’re the eternal optimist, because most of us wouldn’t be thinking about a possible long life given the survival rates you were given. I so wish things went your way because you’re such a good guy, and still have so much to live for. You’ll be greatly missed, and I wish peace and comfort all the way to the end. ♥️♥️

His optimism, healthy attitude, healthy Diet, exercise, Good sleep habits….. all added up to more Time, and a pretty amazing quality of life, that gave him 3 years Instead of the expected 6 months. He appreciated His Life throughout it all. I don’t think I would have Been so brave or strong. He is a true hero.

Same as @CrystallyLavender I just got done watching your brother on your phone doing the Livestream for you as well as an update on your health for us 7/20/2024 . I'm so sorry you suffered your stroke about a week ago and taking your speech from you and the movement to one whole side to your body. The power of positivity and mind over matter not only helped you go further in this life with us but you taught us so much Dr Dan and you brought us so much joy. I will always remember your handsome white smile and your optimism ❤️ 🐼

Hi, I'm Melissa and I'm 39 years old and I have Liver cancer and I'm gonna be starting chemo pills today and doing radiation therapy soon but my cancer doctor tried to tell me that their wasn't any hope for survival and that I should go into hospice. But I feel fine I don't look or feel sick at all. I'm so glad your that your liver tumors are disappearing. Thanks for sharing your progress with us. Is their any advice you could give me. Cuz I'm scared I've never gone through cancer before.

I hope you are doing better Melissa. Did the chemo pills help? You are so young. I think of so many who go thru cancer and I'm sorry it even exists😔

I was so happy when I watched this video the first time, Dr. Dan was very optimistic and so was I. Now watching it again I feel a bittersweet taste. I thought Dr. Dan would be cured because he was young, strong and healthy. I lost my father to the same type of cancer (rectal cancer with liver metastasis). In a way, he was going to beat what beat my father... for me it would be a kind of personal revenge for what cancer took from me. Rest in peace

I know this was a video from 2 years ago, I myself in 2023 just had surgery in December 2023 after doing 6 months of chemotherapy and in December having my surgery. I was diagnosed with colon cancer and it metastasized in liver so I had colon cancer tumor and also in my liver. It turn out to be good news after the surgery my surgeon got the piece of tumor in my colon and liver out and he did it robotically too . But had to make a little bigger incision to make sure he was able to take out my tumor in my liver in 1 piece. I was a week in the hospital .

Hi, 4 months ago I had my first cancer Removed on top of my right kidney, was 1.8 cm RCC grade 2. Successfully removed without any issue, a month before the surgery I had AN MRI showed nothing else besides that only mass on top of kidney, I drank a bottle of red wine throughout 8 hour period while watching movies, eating fatty food, After that I’ve been feeling some weird pains on both of my rib cage sides, and on both sides of abdomen, starts 1 hour after I eat. Pain not constant, it comes and goes. Some contipation, 12 months ago ULTRASOUND showed multiple tiny polyps in gallbladder, Does anyone think it could be a sign of early Cancer putting a pressure on both sides of my abdomen? I feel these pains every night when I’m about to wake up, not super strong pain, it comes and goes.

If ur fingers feel numb, squeeze a tennis ball in each hand. As ur fingers n hand strengthen over time, the numbness will be overcome. If ur toes experience numbness, start doing toe raises with both toes perched on the edge of ur stairs, dipping ur heels downward then raising upward, stretching the calfs. Graduating from this exercise as ur toes (n calfs) strengthen over time, use dumbells (or barbell across ur shoulder to do ur toes/calf raises.
