Part 2 of an audio tape titled "Liverpool The Golden Decade", telling the story of Liverpool's decade of triumphs and tragedies from 1980 to 1990. The tape features BBC radio commentaries and interviews, including Ian Rush, John Barnes, Peter Beardsley and Kenny Dalglish. I have added video footage.

In memory of the victims of Heysel and Hillsborough. Note that as this video was made in 1990 it refers to 95 people dying at Hillsborough. Tragically, since then Tony Bland and Andrew Devine died, taking the death toll to 97.

Really? Between the late 70s and 1985, English teams won SEVEN out of 10 European Cups. 4x Liverpool, 2x NF and 1 for Vila. Until the suspension from Europe, English teams were universally feared. Look at the champions league semifinals this year. Do you see that kind of dominance from English teams? No. As a matter of fact, you see no English teams at all. What about the last 5 years? The last 10? When have English teams been that far ahead of everyone else as much as they were in that 1976-1985 period. Learn about the history of the game. Until then, shut your mouth. You are embarrassing yourself.
