To be brutally honest Suarez in his peak was a better footballer. I love them both as a red but 60 goals in a season for Suarez in 15-16 was just ridiculous. As well on the eye test Suarez just had everything. If Messi was 10 out of 10. Suarez was 9.5 out of 10 and Salah is just that tiny bit less than Suarez for me, not denying Salah here by the way he’s an all time great and a bigger legend for Liverpool.

Slot is the reason why konate and van dijk have been magnificent this year the team is much more compact and dont press aggressively all over the pitch and he likes the shorter passes and control the tempo of the game and klopp liked getting players up the pitch and being direct so we could counter press teams and games were like ping pong sometimes under the bad seasons under klopp! But the good seasons under klopp we was unbeatable and its good to see that style still there but adapted to slots beliefs its brilliant !

Love the enthusiasm Rory! Loving our more controlled style and having the best defence and GD in the league right now..I was never expecting this type of start. To be top of the Prem and Champions League is fantastic but I am always pessimistic because how many times have we been ahead at Christmas and then faded away. November is way too early but it's great to have a cushion. If we can come back from the international break and maintain that 5 point gap by beating Southampton before Man City comes to Anfield. For me that will be the game where if we win we can go 8 clear of City. If we get a draw and stay 5 clear I will take that as well..I just think the next 4 matches are crucial. Southampton, Madrid, City and Newcastle. If we are still 5 ahead of City after the next 3 prem games then I think we can start talking about a challenge but football can change very quickly. I remember Arsenal having a 13 point lead I think it was and they blew it the season before last. The only thing about City is they have the same issue we had. An ageing midfield and an injury to Rodri is huge. LFC replaced Fabinho, Hendo and Thiago and we have not looked back. City having won all they have, injuries and that ageing midfield may just be their undoing this year. Arsenal are a good team but for me this year they are missing something and maybe it's the Odegard injury but they just don't seem to be playing well enough. While those teams are having blips we need to race ahead as much as possible because come January you know we always hit a bad run. Either way it's better than I think any LFC fan expected. Really like Slot and his straight to the point talk. If Arsenal shit the bed tomorrow against Chelsea it could be curtains for them.

Slots in game tactics has been nothing short of phenomenal. The ability to adapt to nulify the opposition needs to be studdied. He knows exactly what to do when to do it. As a Liverpool fan I’m very happy but cautious for two reasons. 1) This form can still dip drastically, look at spurs last season. And city can always go on a run. 2) I’m not seeing enough of Slott’s football in attack. Most success comes from Kloppesque attacks due to the brilliance of players who might be leaving after this season. I’m scared that the true Klopp hangover will come next season. Hope I’m wrong!

Speaking as a Liverpool I think the defense is what I was worried about coming into the season, I knew we’d produce goals but the defense has proved me wrong they have played excellent for the most part, love when our forwards track back for defensive work. Arne slot is our guy, you can tell he enjoys the tactics of the game. An Konate I’ve known in previous seasons we had a really great player in him you could just see the flashes of brilliance, VVD and Matip was a good partnership with Konate it’s an elite partnership. Love that we have a player like Gomez to come in and fill in he’s done a good job when called upon.
