Curtis is usually brilliant at keeping the ball and is developing really well, but yesterday he was brought on to help us control the game and him giving the ball away at that time was poor. Don't think it is unfair to say he had a bad game

I think Curtis is a good player. He has had a lot to deal with re injury but there were points last season were he shined.

I like Curtis his problem is that’s he’s not quite as good as Gravenberch and not quite as Good as Elliott - but he can do the runner/carrier from midfield and the #10 position very well

There still has to be a big concern about how cheaply we keep turning over the ball and the quality of our passing game, it is really poor at times for the quality of footballers we have, has to improve. Mcallister hasnt got the physicallity or athleticism to cover the ground in the middle of the park next to gravenberch if u keep constantly giving the ball away. For me the balance isnt right. If he can get a run of games and hit form in next few weeks id put jones in alongside gravenberch, drop szoboszlai to bench and put mccallister in the 10 were we can get more use of his creative passing and shooting ability which is his strength.

I’ve noticed Trent already a few times busting a gut to get back into position when he’s out. Also his starting position generally has been better so far this season, he must be enjoying the challenge of the situational training the Ste is alluding to. Great to see!

It seems to me. Dom is holding himself back and defers to salah too much. It's causing too much thought and hesitation. He'll only get better.

Love this show. Every time Salah has a couple of games where he doesn't score SO MANY fans will do the 'he's not at it, he's lost his pace/power/poise, he's not contributing!' Mo has ALWAYS been wasteful. Mo has ALWAYS been a streaky scorer. Every season, for the last 6 or 7 years, he has done EXACTLY this and EVERY season the SAME idiots come out with the SAME complaints as soon as it happens again and somehow COMPLETELY forget that this is NORMAL for Mo.

What annoyed me even more about Salah was that awful pass to Curtis when we were 2v1, not so much the missed chance, because to be fair, it came at him quite quickly. On the Gravenberch point, I liked what Slot said about how he was surprised by Ryan's off-the-ball work and gave credit to Jurgen and Bayern for helping develop that side of his game. Although he didn’t play much and occasionally struggled with small knocks under Klopp, he did learn a lot. Now, feeling more comfortable in the team and given freedom and confidence by Arne, he's really flourishing in this new role. Let’s hope he continues to impress. 🙏

If Konate can stay fit he is a massive player for us, yes at times he can be a bit rash but playing every week he will only get better, he's only 25, at 25 Virgil was not long signed for Southampton.

I never actually though Szobo was a 10. He lacks the dribbling and passing from the triple threat, even though he probably has the best shot in the team. He doesn't have the touch for it, so he doesn't turn well. Insanely physically dominant though, would have made an amazing 6 if he bothered to learn and focus on the defensive side of the game, but he's still a great 8 for his pressing and engine.

I personally dont rate Jones, never really have. He had a great spell for a few months at the back end of two seasons ago, but beyond that, I'm not convinced. However, i will always 100% back him on the pitch and will for him to prove me wrong, he has my full backing on that pitch. The hate is just uncalled for, and that toxcity is just all to present online in this fanbase atm.
