Arrived at Middlesbrough way below the standard for teen trialists. Got rejected, but kept training, improving himself and working odd jobs round the club, and within 2 years he got in the team.

Craig Johnson made predator boot, like he had legs of a predator.

I like the way he runs. He's fast and very skilful. The way he used to dribbles the ball really amazed me as a kid back then. Johnston sudden departure from competitive football really shocked me. But he did came back during the US World Cup introducing the new boot "predator". Apart from Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush and Barry Venison, he's the one that I really looked forward to during any Liverpool' matches. He's one of the great players from Liverpool I will always remember.
