The reality is, under Klopp, we faded in the last 10 or so games of the season due to tiredness because of his playing style. I have more confidence of us keeping most players fit and still be playing at a high level late into the season. Slot rotates and game manages much better than Klopp, as much as I love Klopp. Chelsea are our biggest challengers because of their huge squad, thus being able to rest players.

Yes, bad injuries could derail everything, but I think it would take multiple long-term injuries, maybe two out of Salah, Van Dijk, Gravenberch, Diaz / Gakpo would do it. No one injury will take us down. Last year's drop off was the result of having too many first teamers returning from injury and not hitting form quickly enough. Maybe if we'd played the kids against Palace and Everton we'd have clung on.

As a Liverpool fan, we just don’t like the pressure on us. Uncomfortable being the favourites, always confident as the underdog. We’d almost rather not be leading. An injury to Salah would be devastating but Liverpool are one of the last of the big clubs who should be complaining about firepower. If Salah doesn’t score then there’s Nunez, there’s Diaz, there’s Jota, there’s Gakpo. Who do Arsenal have (naturally) up front beyond Jesus, City beyond Haaland, Chelsea beyond Jackson. There’s no denying that Liverpool are in a very good position. There’s just still a lot to play for.

Going deep into all the cups concerns me as a Liverpool fan. I really think we have to prioritise the league and CL due to the unbelievable chance we’ve got this year. In The 21/22 season season playing extra time and pens in the league cup and fa really screwed us in the run in for the PL. we dropped points and then we were dead on our feet for the CL final against Madrid. Winning the domestic cups is nice but I’ll risk not winning anything on getting our hands on the PL trophy with a full Anfield.

I would say Arsenal are still in it, Chelsea are still in it, so because we are a bit ahead in December we probably have 40% chance of winning it, Arsenal 35% and Chelsea 25%. Nothing is done and dusted during the first half of a season with the exception for 2019/2020 when we were just unstoppable and everyone else was bad. I mean, for example in that season (19/20) Leicester were 3rd with 9 and 10 points ahead of Chelsea and Spurs in gameweek 26 and they end up being 5th. I know Liverpool are no Leicester, but it's too early to call the title off. We've had injuries as well and we dealt with it great, then again Virgil and Salah have not missed games which are probably our most crucial players, so we don't know for sure if we are going to cope the same way without any of them.

The best way to look at it is, Liverpool have 42 points. 63 points are still available. So 105 points total if they were to win all there games. Even if Liverpool loose 2, draw 4, that's 95 points. Loose 3 draw 4 that's 92 points. No way either team can catch us, unless we loose 7 and draw a few more, based on other teams
