I read somewhere where he works well with his physios and actually listens to them about resting players etc he also likes to have several wide players on bench who do most of the intense running

As a Liverpool fan; I expect Macca to alternate between the 8 and 6 role, with Gravenberch and Jones getting a crack at the 8 when Macca plays deeper. I think the most likely targets to replace Salah are Bakayoko and maybe Raphinha with a possible swap between Raphinha and Diaz who's rumored to go to Barca? Gakpo may also get more run on the left (he's been horrific at CF but as a winger hes looked bright) and I would be shocked if we didn't pursue a more developed centre forward with some of the Salah money (Isak? maybe even Giminez?)

@@trequinho Endo is probably more of a squad player at this point…I would expect us to pursue a better DLP type midfielder given Endo lacks a lot in his ball progression and penetrative passing ability

When testing tactics, do you go on holiday and set the assistant manager to select the team you have set? Whenever I do that, the team starts off well but the second half of the season they fall off because they’re knackered. How can I test a tactic but make sure they make use of the players I wanted to test it with?

I’m all in on Slot as long as he has a good personality his style reminds me of Klopps when we were in our prime makes perfect sense footballing wise but it takes a lot to be Liverpool manager

It’s better to focus more on the player roles in either formation and how they’re used to achieve the same overall structure rather than the formation itself, especially for a prediction on how a manager would setup a team he hasn’t taken over yet.
