I've never seen somebody so wrong about a player than Sam was about Martinelli lol. Most legends have come out and said hes gonna be unreal, when Arsenal played City the second season Martinelli was there KDB came out and said he was the one that City had to worry about the most when preparing for Arsenal. When he came into the side last season, EVERY Arsenal attacking stat went up. I respect Elliot and think he can be a very good player but at this current level and the projection of the other 3, he has to be the 4th choice.

I can understand the downplaying of Keane, but how did they manage to upscale Vieira as better than both? Start Gerard; box to box, #10, goal threat, assist provider, can win a game by himself as he’s done throughout his career. Bench - Vieira; after Gerard gets it done, bring him on to see out the game. Release - Keana; he’s good but the other two are ahead of him where it matters most and he’s also too temperamental.

So between R9 CR and Ronaldinho I personally, think Ronaldinho starts they talk about best on the pitch and having keepers and defenders falling on the pitch, it’s obviously the number 10 amazing foot work agile, kids score, and then the two Ronaldo‘s were better at scoring. I think it’s easier to replace a striker then it is to replace a generally good winger in a system that has wings.

“If you ask those players they would say Viera inspired them”… projection your opinion on to someone else is the weakest argument in the book. Also, Bhavs is in his early 20s and R9 last played European football in 2008 so he clearly has no memory of how great the real Ronaldo was.

How many have come through each academy and how often are they played?.Arsenal arguably has had a lot of positions open in the team and had to fill in the team over the last season or two whereas Liverpool has had a settled team for a few seasons and less chances for any of the youth players to get more than a few games.You would need to compare the youth teams of each right now to see where the future lies (Arsenal keeps buying more players into the first team lately)
@bruhh63852 жыл бұрын
i agree but arsenal are specifically buying young to build for the future, we don’t want to constantly have a high turnover of players so we’ve built a squad that could stay and grow together for years to come and even if they leave we’ll bring in plenty of money to keep following the same pattern (as long as they don’t leave for free) but yeh i get what you’re saying about liverpool having a fixed team

I'd say I preferred to watch toure over Gerrard, but this is the most horribly informed comment I've ever seen. How is kdb more complete than Gerrard? Just, how? And uu expected Gerrard to continue playing at the the age of 43, while he's 10 years older than kdb? What on earth are uu on mate?
@BloodBlothers2 жыл бұрын
@@juniorkhomari1850 Okay. First, KDB and Yaya look the better players as you say. Second, I'm not sure what you're talking about in terms of age? I meant that KDB can solidify his legacy even further, but in my mind is already #2 or 3 as the most complete premier league midfielder, which was what they were talking about. Third, while I think stats are a rough barometer, statistically, not even sure how that's an uninformed take. In half the matches, Yaya scored half the goals and a third of the assists. But, he also created more chances, was a more consistent passers at a higher volume, has similar defensive numbers despite playing half the amount of games, better dribbling numbers and on and on. KDB for his part, in even fewer games than Yaya has half the goals of Gerrard, more assists, better passing efficiency then both of them, better discipline record, marginally less tackle success and is close to both of them in defensive output in all other stats. So like I said, the juries still out, but I reckon by the end of his career he will be the most complete midfielder in the premier league. Don't sleep on the defensive work he does to keep City pressed up high. Now, the only thing is he has an incredible team in comparison to either. But it's not exactly as wild as you are making it out to be.
