What is really nice about this whole thing is Mo Salah joining with the Christmas celebrations despite being Muslim.. I know quite a few Muslims who refuse anything to do with Christmas on religious grounds and before anyone jumps in my stomach I'm a Muslim myself but I know the diversity in beliefs and ideas between people of my own religion.. I really view this as a huge message of love and peace from Mo Salah to Christians as well as Muslims.. The players are not doing this to promote Christianity or any religion. Christmas is no longer about religion at all for most of us in Liverpool. It is only about buying presents and pretending Santa exists, I haven't even heard the name Jesus mentioned this holiday period. Muslim holidays are unlikely to be incorporated in this country because religion is not well respected by English people anymore because we have realised its fundamental nature is to control us, most of us have moved on, especially the younger generations.
