The dog can use some training. As a puppy, there's so much energy but if the dog can learn how to sit or leave it on command, it will allow the dog to be calm when you need him to be. Training is a good way to bond with your pets. If the dog knows when you dont like something, it will know to stop. If you train and establish a way to communicate with the dog, it will know when you want him to stop barking when needed. One thing I noticed at the end is when you slapped him on the butt, it was enough to stop him from barking. That was you communicating to him and him understanding. It showed that the dog is receptive to your commands but you will need to put in the time to establish that relationship

I've own both of these animals and i know for a fact they shouldn't of been introduced like this. The cats handled themselves very well in this situation, I feel as though speed needs to have more control over his dog and understand the animals different body language, the white cat was happy at first but you can see him getting kind of over how the dog doesn't leave him alone. If you wanted to introduce them like this straight away, the dog should be told to sit and scolded if he barked at the cats. I get that this is probably a new experience for speed but he definitely should've looked into how to introduce them before actually doing it, so that both the cats and his dog feel comfortable.

The best way to introduce them to each other is letting your cats stay in a room while you let your dog roam the house because cats need to get used to a small area before you let them get use to the entire house, If you give your dog a blanket for a few days to lay on it should have their scent on there and then you can introduce that to your cats slowly so they get use to the scent. And then you can introduce them by using the door as a barrier to keep them safe from each other until they have become familiar with each other. Once you are done doing that you can introduce them using a fence or a gate to be more open but also safe. It should have been a slow introduction not a face to face one cause as you could tell one cat was getting agitated and the other wanted to throw down already. I also made the same mistake but just got lucky cause my cat was chill.

I was glad to see a content creator use this type of humor. It’s not that funny to me because my friends and I have used this humor very often it’s just mundane to us now. Little explanation : The dog just wants to play (he puts his head down and his buttocks up) but cats and dogs don't have the same way of communicating and so the cat tries to understand if he's a threat and gently pushes him away when he comes too much into his personal space. Cats are less playful and especially with dogs so his poor dog will often be put off because dogs want to play all the time and cats most often want to be left in peace.

The kitties had to settle in new home while dealing with a puppy who obviously is gonna be too god damn excited. Main Coone reacted like a normal cat would. Ragdoll really surprised me how it handle the situation

you can encourage friendship by setting boundaries and being patient, very patient. Make sure both have areas that belong to either the cat or the dog alone the other is not allowed there and where they can feel safe and secure. Do not allow the dog to menace the cat. Try hard to keep the cat from menacing the dog (yes, that’s a thing too). Introduce them gradually, with scent and sound before actual contact. I use the ‘under the door’ method for introducing two cats but it also works for dog and cat. This is pretty simple, just keep a closed door between the two of them for a day or two and let them sniff each other under that door. It gets them used to the idea of sharing turf. The golden rule for me is food. Food will have them bonding in no-time, lol. My cat used to be scared of the dog, but when the dog was fully distracted by food they were able to be super-close. Just give them both treats until they associate that positive experience with eachother, and they will be best buddies after (the cat is the boss now by the way). It was also a pretty severe case, with a traumatized cat (from previous owners), so I think there is hope for any dog and cat to live together. As long as the dog is not trying to kill the cat, ofcourse.
