Hi Adler! We are just finding out how completely incompetent our Texas grid people are! Come to find out we were just a few minutes away from a complete failure that would have taken months to get back online. We are the one of the biggest energy producers and everyone is so HOT! We are finally back to water, electric and propane (amount restricted) but no firewood anywhere. I pray people wake up and stay ready for anything. Your little Adler is almost about a year younger than my grand baby who is a little over 3 years old now, that’s him in my profile picture when he was 2 and is the love my life. The snow is so pretty. You have beautiful, adorable children my dear and God has certainly blessed you, first world problems aside. 😃 praying for warmer temps to come your way sooner than expected. He’s in upstate NY where we grew up and I am in So Cal so we are physically apart but together in spirit. He’s been through hell and back, I just thank God, for his blessings. I remember that part of the beginning of 2021. I live in North Central Ar and we had that same weather. I lost my water for a week. My dogs sit and watch your videos with me,I think its because of all the animals and their noises 😅. I have a Great Pyrenees and I truly love that breed. Lol pigloo

I was gonna text you the other day and asked about baby bunnies. Our last bred momma that had successful fall offs didn’t have babies either 🤔 But she didn’t pull fur. Giving her one more change once it warms up. Yours could possibly be due to the cold or she possibly ate them being her first litter. Hopefully next time around is better! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hoss looks like a hoss. That is more snow than I want to deal with. After 8 yrs in AK I've had my fill of snow and -40°. I now live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon where we still have 4 seasons. Cold and wet, cold and dry, warm and wet and hot and dry. But mostly wet, lots of rain but hardly ever snow. I don't envy you having to trek thru that stuff. Blessings

Sorry your water is out . if the system is a public water supply Your neighbors are running their water to keep their pipes from freezing and the system is about to run out and you are on a higher elevation, If you are on a well system you need to run the water a small amount before it freezes. look at exposed pipes for swolen spots and that is where the stopages are do not use a hair dryer on frozen pipes it will electricute you when water comes out. be careful don't flood your house cut the waert off at the main.hope that helps.

I am looking for an either Australian Shepherd, or Border Collie, or maybe an Anatolian Shepherd that will protect my chickens as soon as I get the chickens. Your snow is beautiful! Its wayyyy colder here. Sometimes female rabbits will eat their young if they feel stressed. When you see them pulling hair don't do too much more then feed them. you might want to put a lid on her hutch so it feels like a burrow. We would kept the bucks away from the does after they were bred.

Just a question but when you tip the frozen water out from the ducks and Smokey why don't you tip into a bucket and take to the beefier boys and the water heater, would certainly save a little bit in the long run

@@DossFarm Depends on how much you can pack in and depends on how heavy the snow is. I say throw it in until the trough if full and once it is melted water the rest of the animals and throw some more in. Just a thought. Sounds like most of the time you don't have to worry about it though. I am old enough to remember using melted snow when we had no water.

Err. Umm I think this is the wrong way around. 7inches of snow to produce 1inch of rain. This is variable as well as the air temperature outside is a key factor in snow production. The colder the air the more snow required to produce the inch of rain.
