Yay, Matt is back! I don't like to give unsolicited advice, but my husband trained Labs for retriever competition for many years. You are right, teaching "Recall" is vital, particularly for dogs that will be working in large open areas. Our dogs learned to immediately come to verbal command and to a recall whistle when they were further out. And I agree with Matt, Batman is extra cool. 😊

Matt is certainly a Doss boy. With his sense of humour & his looks, it's easy to tell you are all related. Revel & Riley are so adorale & beautiful pups. I can't believe the chickens caught the mouse after he made a run for it! I did not see him run but heard Matt say he did. So, that's one less mouse in the world! 🐓👍👍That was fantastic the chickens got that mouse! it has been funny they were more afraid of the board being lifted up than to get the mouse. They just had to show off for Matt, good job Matt you will be a farmer soon. The puppies are so cute and the names you all picked are great choices. Made me laugh to see the goats jump and run when the puppies scared them which then scared the puppies. I bet they will love the pool they seem to be water dogs. The pups are darling and it is fun watching them play. Carry trears with you for training the pups...they will listen better. What I did to train pups to come to me was start out in a small space, like their pen and call their name and give them a treat when they come to you. You might use hot dogs cut up into very tiny pieces. I used hot dogs, chicken or cooked bacon when I was training my pup more difficult things. My dog loved goose poop. Tell Matt to watch his fingers when he gets the eggs as snakes loves eggs too. 😂 especially the eggs in the goat house...

Matt has a nice calm, soothing voice. Leash training will help down the road for vet visits and such. Command training will help when you want to take them out and back up like you mentioned. They are so adorable🥰🥰
