The whole reason I bought the AxeFX 2 was the perpetual firmware updates. When the 2XL came out not long after, the writing was on the wall... when the 3 came out, and they stopped supporting the 2, it was a bit of a disappointment. I still have my AxeFX 2, but honestly... I go to mini heads into my OX more often than not now. What happened with AXE2 firmware updates is probably the biggest thing making me shy away from getting a 3.

I am the exact same about picks as Misha. Ive been using tortex for years. for 7yr I used .73s and about 4 years ago switch to .60s. They have just enough give and I can still play fast and chuggy without issues. However about a year and a half ago I found out about Dunlop Tortex T3 and theyre my go to now. They are exactly the same as the regular tortex they just have a slightly sharper tip, like a jazz3 tip but a regular size pick. LOVELOVELOVE!!
@Rickles4 жыл бұрын
I spent about 30 minutes playing with these ideas and demoing IRs before I realized I was using my neck pick up. Productive night indeed. A tip I find helpful. In the Amp Block go into preamp and take the lowcut up to about 100 give or take. It'll clean things up before the gain stage and remove some woof without compromising and turning the bass knob or the gain down so much.

Life hack for not eating an entire package of potato chips. Fill a separate bowl with chips and force yourself to never eat out of the bag. It really works. Once you go digging into the bag it's over.

How do you guys eat chips without feeling like shit right after? I can never do it. Even a tiny amount makes me feel horrible.
@Genghis_Sean_4 жыл бұрын
@@djentlover The key is to always feel like shit so you don't notice lol. But seriously if you can avoid processed foods you should. I recently cut out sodium and oil from my diet and dropped 30 lbs within a few weeks. But to answer your question, definitely try eating them with something like a healthy wrap or sandwich and only eat a small handful. If it still messes with you then maybe consider ditching chips altogether? Oven roast your own potatoes as a side dish instead.
@djentlover4 жыл бұрын
@@Genghis_Sean_ Wow, I didn't expect an elaborate answer. Thanks though! Yeah I've been avoiding them, but sometimes my girlfriend buys them and I chime in, regretting it every time. A sandwich sounds way better to me anyways, so I'll go with that instead. :D I'm not sure in what situation would you need that densely packed fat and sodium anyway

Don't know why everyone says it's expensive ! Sure it does cost a lot , but a 100W valve amp and five pedals will cost around the same and that's all you get with the Axe you get virtually unlimited possibilities , which grows with every single update !!!!

Hey Misha! First off both of my sons and I are huge Periphery fans. I’ve always been inspired by your musicianship. That said, I need to vent my frustration with Jackson QC on the HT6 Pro Juggernaut. It’s a huge purchase for me, and I’m a bit of a perfectionist, but I’ve ordered and returned 10 of them now purchased from various retailers due to a litany of QC issues. It’s disheartening when I really just wanted to buy and play one of these guitars.

returning 10 of the same guitar sounds like a skill issue
@TheActualAus10 Жыл бұрын
@@t3hgir I don’t think chipping paint, broken pickup selector switches or dead neck pickups on brand new guitars has anything to do with skill, unless you are talking about the skill of the folks building these and inspecting them before shipping them out? I gave up finding one that wasn’t fucked up. Unacceptable when I’ve bought dozens of less expensive budget brand guitars sight unseen that have arrived with no serious issues.

Thanks for this. Super cool. I wish I could use the GDD cabs without needing a DAW open and a weird routing set up. It's pretty cumbersome. I'd rather just buy my IRs from someone else.
@g43773 жыл бұрын
A fix to that is open up ggd zilla app without your daw then export the desired preset. Then open axe edit, go to the cab block, go to one of the user banks, have the selected cab empty and literally just drag and drop. Although my explanation was simple the process is even easier.
