That angry lady made me really sad because you are such a kind and nice person. In my opinion you are the last one to deserve such an approach. I was even afraid that as in a hot weather the Japanese ladies use umbrellas, although I could not understand anything, because of her agressiveness in her voice, you might be even attacked. Got bless it has not happened, but you were totally upset, which even worsend your gastric troubles. This is the first time you were not able to eat properly. I’m sorry you had to go through that, but then again, I’m glad it was you. Here in the US there are those that would have reacted violently towards her. Instead, you were calm and respectful not many could be that way. It was evident that she was upset with the current situation in the world and you just happen to cross her path so you were the outlet of her frustration. By reacting calmly and respectfully, you allowed her to vent and get out some of that pent up frustration. I know it was hard and very upsetting to you but think of it this way, by letting her vent for just those few minutes maybe it made the rest of her day a little easier. There are people like her everywhere and you showed us the proper way to handle this situation so thank you. Keep up the great job of showing us Japan and keep on being the wonderful person you are.

My wife n I watched your videos for more than a year already and we love your contents, it must be very shocking to encounter such scary situation, please don’t be upset because you’ve done nothing wrong. Whatever her problem is, let’s just leave it behind, there are people who are aggressive and just want to be “as-ho” (I’m being nice here…). Please know that you have our support. We were also shocked by that weird lady. We had similar experiences in Tokyo when we were on our honeymoon in 2019.
