Doing this gives me an almost completely dark picture. I realize I would need more light, but even turning everything I got on still makes it seem like I am recording af night. Is there an optimal ISO? is it "the lower the better" and then it's just a question of how much money I want to spend on light? Or would ISO 3600 be OK also?

Everytime i LIVE stream the picture turns off after 30 minutes. I guess it is the power mode setting where 30 minutes is the longest. How do I avoide it shutting off during a LIVE longer than 30 minutes?
@LiveStreamingPros Жыл бұрын
You'd need to adjust your settings and add a dummy battery (kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGS1iXh_eZqfkKM)

my EOS webcam utility wont work with the new Mac Monterey OS, so I purchased the capture card and the picture looks awful. Granted - it does work, but I see the grid as well as its a horrible picture. Any ideas?

i plan on going the capture card route with my canon. it did not come with a micro USB to HDMI cable- shoud i purchase a USB to HDMI or a micro USB to HDMI to connect the camera and the capture card? i couldn't tell what you did for yours. Thanks!
@LiveStreamingPros Жыл бұрын
You'd want to get a cable with micro HDMI on one end and standard HDMI on the other.

This is a great how to, but I'm still seeing focus rectangles... I've looked everywhere, most people don't seem to get them, others do. Have you heard of this? Is there a way to make them go away?

How can I connect the Canon M50 to my Black Magic Atem Mini Pro video switcher?
@LiveStreamingPros Жыл бұрын
You'd want to get a micro HDNI to HDMI cable for that. Something like this: amzn.to/3KWxEUQ

If you add a dummy battery you can stream or record for as long as you want! 🎉 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGS1iXh_eZqfkKM)

If you did the HDMI capture method and didn't want to record from the camera, would you still have issue with M50 Mark II 30 minute video limit?
@LiveStreamingPros9 ай бұрын
Yes, you'll need to change the camera settings and use a dummy battery. You'll find more info on that here: (kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGS1iXh_eZqfkKM)

So I want a fancy webcam. I was looking at either the Canon EOS M50 (original) or the Mkii. Is there any benefit to my getting the Mkii over the original or will the picture quality be the same? I can either buy new Mkii or I can buy a slightly used M50 (but not mkii) with an additional lens and a rode microphone attachment for about the same price (a bit cheaper). But I don't want to buy the original M50 and then regret not getting the Mkii. So I'll pay extra if there is a real benefit. The other confused about is the camlink attachment? So I should budget for one of those too? (Sorry I am clueless)
@DermotWhelan2 жыл бұрын
You wont get the clean HDMI feed with the M50 so display items will be visible on your stream feed and webcam feed. So the Mii is better.

When I use the canon EOS Utility app while I’m gaming I lose around 60 to 80 FPS not worth the trade off I’ll probably purchase a cam link you think it’ll be worth it ??
