I fit the target profile for the del mar and the only thing stopping me from getting one is a lack of motor cycle license like you stated in a previous vlog. I have been doing bike, helmet, gear, etc. research over the last couple months and I truly think this is the bike for me since it fits my lifestyle and optional commuting to work needs when weather permits. I will still have my car when needed.

exactly same takeaway from my test ride. That thing is better than the LW1. Blew me away! Only dumbed down spec is the battery capacity/charging.

Regarding the handling feeling, that factor is largely determined by the geometry. Raising and lowering the forks in the triple will alter the feel drastically.

I think owners should put some normal 17 inch rims and sports tires like pirelli supercorsas. They'll change the bike properly I think

I'm a Purdue Boilermaker. The first bike I bought new was a 1981 Honda CBX from Duane Dreyer at Dreyer Honda in Indianapolis. Duane is still there. I still really regret selling that bike... I agree that there is great riding in Indiana. I invite you to come out to Malibu and try out the canyons here.

Nothing like looking at the reason Harley is loosing 100million this year. The consensus on the LiveWire is really the DeadWire. This isn't the market that makes Harley money and overall it doesn't appeal to the folks buying Harleys. If they want to reach a younger crowd I don't see this working.

People cant hear normal motorcycles and hit them, anyone driving an electric motorcycle has 99% chance of getting hit by a car or truck.

@@kauldercage5469 So, you’re saying that loud motorcycles are safer than quiet motorcycles? So, Harleys are safer than Suzukis? Cars are very quiet, so Harley’s are safer than cars? Most crashes are frontal. Head-on, no one can hear you until you’re right on top of them. It’s known as the Doppler effect. You can’t hear a police siren when it’s coming at you until it’s right on top of you. Loud does not equal safe. Jack is a savvy, veteran driver, who has been driving an electric motorcycle for a long time. He is highly credible on the subject.

@@ChitFromChinola What i am saying is louder gives you a better chance that people in cars will know you are there and not run you over, a total silent bike is more likely to get hit because many drivers dont pay attention and a quiet bike is eaiser to miss being noticed.

Geez Jack. Rules aren't for you. Anyway, what is your conclusion about this simulation/augmented reality handling? Does it improve the bike or is it a detraction. I only got up to 90 on it and we were in Florida with no twisties so I assessed that the fat wheel made is steer a bit slower than my ELW but the light weight and something else made it as flickable as my ancient GPz305. Just throwing that thing around with such a light weight but with such amazing torque can't even be rivaled by an RZ350 or some other two smoke bike. It's an incredible package of mind numbing power coupled with very light weight.
