When will be the last day of room assignment? Will the move in date be affected by it?

We continue to assign students as spaces become available throughout August. Your move-in date will stay the same regardless of your hall/community assignment but a request to change it can be submitted at go.wisc.edu/my-housing by 8/28.

Is Labor Day 9/2 open to move in?

Good question! While 9/2 is not an official move in day, students can move in that day. Timeslots are available on 9/2 that students can select from by 8/28 at go.wisc.edu/my-housing. Hall desks will be open on 9/2 for check-in, but there will be more limited help and assistance available for students moving in on that day compared to what is typically available on our official move-in days.
