@@alliyah7386 hi! i just used half double crochet for the regular lavender square from what i remember and for the hello kitty i did about a chain 7 then single crocheted each stich down the chain than i did four sc in the last one to start working on the other side than I kept going until the size was right than added the face details with weight 3 yarn and a needle than sewed her on the square!

If you haven't used the extra squares yet you could totally make additional sweaters and auction them off and give the $$ to a charity for whatever you sell them for. I bet you would get a lot of interest since so many ppl contributed. Wonderful idea and great work!!

First, knit a square, then a much smaller one. Sew the smaller one onto the bigger one but only sew on three of the four sides of the small square. Then, knit or crochet an amigurimi that fits inside the small square. The end 🤗

Thanks for your video. I really love that idea. It exceeded my expectations too. I think your making this video is already an amazing witness to what we can achieve as a community. Just make yourself a blanket for your bed or make one for a mum that cannot afford to buy much for their baby child. Or make a homeless person happy. Just give back to those who do not have that fortune to sit in a warm and cosy house knitting away as a hobby. Its called paying it forward. That is what all those people have done by donating a little square to a very passionate young woman. You are the bomb, lovie, you are a real beauty and cute as a button.

Nice assembling of unique squares. With infinite possibilities at hand, her arrangement and color sequence turned out super cute and flashy but not overwhelming, the black bordering did the trick of bringing everything together. Good job 👏!

You are absolutely adorkable! You make me laugh and giggle watching you get so happy over each of your squares and your buttons. It made me think of my button box (formerly a tin of butter cookies) and I like to add buttons to it that I think my (nearly 3 years old) fraternal twin granddaughters will have fun playing with. I think that is the neatest idea I’ve heard in a long time. I would ask other crocheters to send a square from all over the world. Or join/start an international crochet group. This was an awesome idea. I'm sorry I missed it. CROCHETERS UNITE!!! I suggest keeping it up and making cardigans for nursing homes residents or for kids at Women's shelters or for the homeless. You could also ask for yarn donations for collar & cuff ribbing. I would donate. BTW awesome cardigan! I'm a Hello Kitty fan too, so of course those were my favs.
