I used to watch all of your videos from like 2019 to 2020. For some reason, I stopped, I probably didnt have enough time. Randomly I just now thought about Ava Jules and I thought 'I wonder what she's doing?' and when I searched you up I saw that 15 minutes ago you had posted this video. Ava, you mean so much to me and you kept me company during the darkest part of my life. You are amazing, and I love to see you being so open and vulnerable. I'm so sorry to hear this and I hope you're okay

Thanks for sharing Ava. For anyone dealing with this, I have one perspective that might help. it took me over 2 years of mourning a breakup to realize that I was mostly mourning a past version of MYSELF. Of course you change when someone important leaves your life. Once I accepted that the old me is gone (and we’re always changing no matter what anyways), I started to feel a lot better. Hope this helps someone! Of course Ava was spot on too.

letting yourself have emotions is so important, especially being angry!! after I got cheated on I was so quick to excuse the behaviour and understand their actions. I had the most wonderful therapy session where my therapist got me so riled up, it really motivated me to move on and focus on me. You look so healthy and well Ava, love this era for you!! 😆

i went through a break up 9 months ago & what ava said so many things that i resonated with. please just grief for the loss of this person who is still alive. to go from talking to someone everyday to not talking at all, it’s going to hurt. take it second by second, minute by minute, day by day. heaven is cheering you on today tomorrow and forever. today will end and tomorrow will start again. keep going.

I’ve never commented for some reason even though I watch every one of your videos and listen to every podcast. We moved into apartments at the same exact time, we’re about the same age, and I just relate to you so much. Especially your tips on how to deal with loneliness and boredom when moving out have been so helpful. Idk why I’ve never commented this before because I think it every time I watch one of your videos. I just hope you know I’m proud of you, you’ve helped me so much over the years, and i love you!! You’re like the big sister I never had! You’ll get through this❤️

Personally, I love how this isn’t like other break up videos, where the person sits in front of the camera and just explains the relationship and why the couple broke up and what’s to be expected in the future. Instead, you showed us and explained many ways of coping and getting through a very tough and vulnerable time. I love how you touched on essentially all parts of a break up, from the first few days, to the emotional roller coaster that’s to be expected, to tips on how to get through it. Thank you for being so open and transparent with us and thinking of ways to help your viewers, even though you yourself are going through a rough patch💕💕 we love and appreciate you mounds and are here for you like you are here for us.

Thank you for being vulnerable ❤ break ups really suck lmao, but keeping an Optimistic and positive mindset can take you so much farther than you think. In 2020 I went through the worst breakup of my life so far, and taking myself on mini trips to be in nature with only myself really did wonders for my kind and soul. So much healing can happen from just being outside and being present with the earth ❤️😊

Not an hour after the breakup I called my sister, and she said sonething that really struck me. My phone died in the midst of our conversation, just after she had voiced it. I used it as a mantra when I walked the streets back home, with every step a memory of him unfolded... "Every moment that passes, it gets better."

Thank you Ava for sharing how you’re getting through this tough time, I needed to hear this. I am getting through a very recent break up now, after 5 years of being with my best friend. The hardest part for me is trying to focus on the very real & still true reasons of why we decided to break up. I find myself getting caught in hundreds of great memories we shared over the years. This advice might not help everyone‘s specific situation, but whether it ended on good or bad terms, I feel there is a way to reflect positively. When I find myself struggling because of good memories, I try to flip the narrative & think “I am so grateful to have shared an amazing relationship with such an incredible person. I am truly lucky for this experience we shared.” or “I’m happy for all that this relationship has taught me about myself & I get to walk away & create the best version of myself.” To anyone going through this: Whatever your personal situation may be, I hope that you find the strength to realize there is more out there for you & you deserve that happiness!

This vlog was much needed Ava ❤ I’m going through a difficult situation with my partner of 4 years, we love eachother SO much and want to have a future together but we both need space to grow alone rn and learn to love ourselves and not be dependent solely on eachother for happiness - so we are not in communication rn and haven’t talked in over a week. The past week has been so hard to not be able to but I’ve been focusing on my health and going to the gym. I’ve been doing cleanses to fix my gut health. I redecorated my room and deep cleaned my closet and bathroom- getting rid of anything that didn’t make me happy. I’ve been reading more (finished a book finally) even though before this I was in a reading rut for a few months. I’ve also been spending more time with my fam even though I haven’t been able to talk about the situation yet I still feel better knowing I have loving family and friends who are always there for me. Not sure what the outcome will be and if we will reconcile or not but knowing that things will be okay if we don’t make me feel so much less scared for the future. Thanks for the tips Ava 💞 it’s so amazing to listen to you because you’re so real and truly feel a friend to all of your subscribers 😊

my current bedroom reminds me so much of the person i used to be. so many people have been in my current room that i have no connection with and never want to speak to again, and my room looks the same as it did when they were in it. when my friends moved houses as kids, they would usually get to give their new room a makeover. i never did; we would keep all the old stuff and just to rearrange it in the new space. i leave for uni in the fall and i am itching to create a space that is mine and mine alone, fresh and new. my current room is definitely having a negative effect on my headspace and has for many years.
