I read that INFJs are usually reserved but highly sensitive to how others feel, they are idealistic, with high moral standards and a strong focus on the future and enjoy thinking about deep topics and contemplating the meaning of life. I’m genuinely impressed by people like you, who aren’t afraid to be themselves online. I couldn’t do it. I thought it was a choice but recently found out that I’m terrified of posting my personal thoughts and things that I like under my real name. I fear people irl would make fun of me or that my mysterious image would be ruined. I’m trying to change because it’s too stressful.

I even have an entirely diff IG that nobody knows abt in real life (if you add 1 person you get rec’d to others) so I can feel like I can post what I want w/o getting anxious about every move. I used to feel this way. I wore my anonymity as veil to protect myself. Being mysterious made me feel invincible and invisible at the same time. It's hard to be yourself IRL, let alone online. But once you live authentically as yourself without fear, you feel free. I hope anyone reading this finds courage and strength to be your true self always. You deserve to be the main character in your story. 🤍

I'm also an INFJ and I thought they were very rare but reading the comments I'm surprised how many there are including Michelle! I'm glad that Michelle is a youtuber- I relate to her in so many ways such as being second gen Korean, personality traits, being very chill and introverted yet silly with friends, but also the struggle of making new friends and stepping out of that comfort zone especially when having social anxiety like myself. i'm an infj :) it's interesting because i find that a lot of the youtubers i follow and am most interested by are generally infjs/infps (which is also the people i surround myself with) i had a feeling you were one! i feel like we all have that ~mystery~ to us and we have a lot of personality but it only shows to a select few people. i struggled growing up bc i was shy & i made it a point to be more outgoing in my teens/early twenties. now that i'm in my late twenties, i'm a lot more comfortable with myself and understanding that my "success" isn't defined by how social i am/how many friends i have but by the meaningful connections i make with the few people out there i call close friends. struggled with being hypercritical of myself and my work because i always look up to people who are phenomenal at what they do. so i always feel average. when i know i'm definitely above average. (but i would never actually admit that and it feels weird for me to type that lol) but love your talks girl!

INFJ here! You can do it! =) Especially in a new place and alone it pushes us out of the comfort zone and sometimes, it just takes longer for us to find the right click but once it's found and we really want it, it's usually lasting and deep 😊

When Michelle shared she was an INFJ before I felt I understood why I really resonated with all her vlogs. I mostly spend my time alone, decorating my apartment, playing with my dogs, and really just vibing on my own. I too face challenges sometimes trying to genuinely connect with others, but at the same time I barely leave the apartment, haha.

It's really nice that you guys found each other. When i moved here in Australia, i worked really hard making friends and introducing myself to my peers, classmates and lecturers even though i'm a really introvert(INFP!) and shy person before. it really worked out for me because they taught me a lot of self love and reassurance to not be scared to talk to people. i really adore my close group of friends and even though we don't get to meet often nowadays, when we do its like we never lost touch. I'm really lucky that i made that decision to be open to people and many reciprocated. I hope New York life will be much kinder to you michelle! I got a sense that you are very similar to me. ngl i spend a lot of time alone or at home too because i'm not the type who would go out for fun, but having extroverted & outgoing friends really helped me to burst out of that bubble and actually experience new things. i don't regret it at all

I’m ENFJ! I actually think we’re super similar, that’s why I was immediately drawn to your videos. I think the test gave me ENFJ bc I trained myself to be extroverted when I hang out but I easily get tired from it so technically I’m borderline INFJ haha. I enjoy a lot of alone time to sort out my thoughts and to let my mind rest. I also think our perspectives of the world are very similar so a lot of what you say resonates with me. Lol I’m an infj too so I’ve literally related to a lot of things you say/feel so it makes sense now! I recently read up more about my personality type and it really really opened my eyes up to why I am the way I am. Basically: we like to be in our heads a lot, introverted but also with the want to have extroverted feelings so that messes us up a little!

I'm INFJ! Personally, I see people with INFJ personalities put a bigger emphasis on quality time with the people you care about, you are able to have alone time, but at the same time still want to be with your significant other/family/friends, you are creative and thoughtful, you're always trying to learn something new, you're calm, when you get excited you can genuinely tell, emotions are strong, but controlled, and connections with people are felt deep inside so you know you truly connect with that person. That's me in a nutshell and I do feel like we share some of those traits. Because when I watch your videos, your thoughts and actions seem to follow what I feel and would do. So I truly enjoy your videos. :)

I'm also an INFJ! I can relate to you having a few genuine friends rather than having a bunch of casual friends. INFJs can seem outgoing but I think you and I both prefer to hang out in smaller groups or have alone time in deep thoughts about relationships, career, and life in general.
