just want to suggest to cut all the veggies first before the meats on the same chopping board/knife to avoid any contamination that the meat might have on your veggies ❤ just for safety since you're storing them ❤😊 unless you're using separate chopping boards/knives for veggies vs meats then ur fine

it really depends on how a person take the word "lonely" and definitely from your perspective which is agreed by mine, it's how you manage to get busy while you're alone. there's so much things that we can do when we're alone, that's why I consider it as a blessing. one can explore their creativity and productivity. there's more of lesson to explore when we're living at our own pace. will always salute how u managed to live your life to the fullest (?) ig even if you're living alone... after all, living is not living without being able to explore and learn outside rin naman. love you, Jessica 🩶

I used to live in Makati near Poblacion/Powerplant (now in the UAE) so I'm feeling nostalgic with the areas you visit! I love the realness too! This is what solo living is like -- making meals for yourself, occupying your time with hobbies outside work, meeting friends when you can. AND the hair lol -- could have easily been edited out, but it gives us a nice glimpse that it happens to everyone.

also i want to add on 'feeling lonely' - I guess there are times when it might get too quiet (it took a while for me to adjust) but this year, I have spent like 90% of my time alone. on the outside I do appear that I'm alone, but I rarely feel lonely hehe. having time to yourself is so so precious and you can do anything you want! and you learn a lot about yourself. I'm an extremely social person but I also need my time alone HAHA, resting however I need to and enjoying (& discovering) my hobbies at my own pace is really peaceful ❣

Zucchini is different from squash which has a hard, inedible peel & large seeds can be baked and eaten. Please do NOT wash meat, just clean everything that comes into contact with it & cook at the right temp. Use a different chopping board and knife for cutting vegetables and fruits versus raw fish and meats to prevent cross contamination.

Its within the culture of the Philippines to always wash their meat. But FDA's reccommendation is to NEVER wash your chicken. When people say washing your chicken will get the nasty stuff that is an absolute no no. Washing it instead will spread the bacteria all over your kitchen. A contaminated area with washed chicken can reach up to 8-10 meters away. You mights as well just go back to your old habit.

Hi Jessica a piece of advice regarding your food storage, I saw that you’ve prep all your food in the fridge, dont put RAW meat for too long in the fridge specially chicken because chicken can easily produce bacteria like salmonella if its not frozen its better to put it in the freezer, and yes you have to wash everything that you are cooking may it be meat vegetables even rice even tho it came from a well known supermarket or meat shop its not only in the Philippines but all over the world even in korea coz you’ll never know who packed those produce

Jesssica spend more time in Philippines in her life. She was here since childhood up to now and visit Korea for vacation. Like some of our Korean vloggers also been here since child hood. And some was born in the Philippines so Philippines is considered their comfort home.dito na ang nakasanayan nilang lifestyle and environment dahil dito na sila lumaki. and they are considered Filipino na talaga since Philippines is thier natural habitat and environment while growing up.

I can definitely agree with you there. Alone doesn't mean lonely. I will take alone than being in a toxic, or sad, or mid relationship ANYTIME. And the tragic thing about most relationships is that by the time you realize you don't really mesh with the other person, you just don't want to break up because you feel sorry or guilty. It's just not a good way to live and I notice so many people who stay only because they have NOTHING ELSE going on in their lives. Which is a very sad excuse. I'm glad more and more people realize and know that "Alone" doesn't mean "Lonely". I'm single, myself and I honestly don't miss being a couple. The commercialization of relationships and marriage just drives me further away from it, to be honest.

The quality of work sucks. Resources are so limited. Good quality food like 97% lean + 3% fat steak, so hard to find and its expensive. Exactly not safe at all. The Medical are so limited. The hospitals, clinics and their instruments are so outdated. Most public and private owned clinics lacks hygiene. People are only nice, if they need something from you but they are Money s*cker. The maids are so cheap, golly, the quality of work..... OMG, they had no clue in operating household machineries or initiatives what to do. Lastly, there are so many arrogant that pretends they are Rich, wealthy or whatsoever and befriend you, at the end of the day, they love to barrow your money and good luck if they pay you back in full or disappear.

your safe in the Philippines, just avoid going to some places, that somebody may hurt you. ask advice first to some filipino citizen or friends.

You are not alone in wanting to add veggies when eating adobo Jessica 😂. I pair mine with sari-saring gulay or also add potatows cause why not? 😂 I read on some article that when you wash meat, you are actually spreading bacteria in your sink and prep area so that is why I don't BUT if I buy my meat in the public market I wash them and contain the "water from the washed meat" as much as I can so it won't spread. How do you guys prep your meat?

Potatoes and onions in adobo is normal. My mom puts potatoes when she feels like it. Carrots not so much.

For me it’s depends what area you live in the Philippines especially in Manila as long as you don’t live in tondo that’s a dangerous area in Manila same as Malabon, divisoria and quapo cause in quapo due to the pickpockets there and also in tondo due to the gang and robbery same as in malabon and divisoria

be careful when you're cutting your ingredients on the same cutting board! usually you want to cut everything but meat first, then cut the meat last to avoid contamination or just use separate cutting boards
