I did enjoy this Video. First time here in your channel. It's just my daughter and I, in my family, and I wish we could be there right now, in that area of Miami. The last time I went to Miami from Orlando, was in the year 1998. I am looking for remote work at this time in my life because my daughter is getting chemotherapy and I am the one who takes care of her. We spend a lot of time at home and I have a lot of time in my hands that I can use to work from home and make a living that way. Working from home, or remotely, allows me to provide for her and still take good care of her during this time in her life. Any suggestions on where I can apply that it is not that difficult for me to get my foot in the door to work remotely but that it is a legitimate company or business to work for? My background is in customer service, accounting, data entry, order processing, and Microsoft Excel reports and data analysis.

It's a dream of mine to live part time in Miami! I've been visiting Miami Beach a few weeks at a time for the last 8 years, and I've never explored Brickell before. Will be checking out your vlogs on the area to get ideas on where to visit. Your lifestyle is inspiring.

We used to live in the building above Whole Foods. It was fun for a while, but way too noisy (on the 13th floor, no less!) and there were too many incidents of homeless people accosting us as we walked around or random people pooping under the bridge or right on the sidewalk. You had lunch at a place where two smoothies and two salads is $60 plus whatever service charge they put on top of it. And the part of the video in your condo shows one of the worst parts of living in Brickell and working remotely - the living units don’t have any extra space to set aside any dedicated working areas. You almost have to rent one more bedroom than you need in order to comfortably work from home in a multi-remote-worker family, but that extra bedroom will cost you an extra $2000 a month or more in Brickell.

That area is technically not brickell but considered downtown which is definitely not as nice (even though it’s just a few blocks away). The whole downtown area is getting revamped. Should be alot better in 5-10 years.

Lots of great things to do there in Brickell area. I lived there 5 yrs in Brickell Key and it was great - except the marathon days - but I think the population there has tripled since 2010. Lots of great restaurants and shopping.

I live in South Florida. Great video. Rent here expensive from 2,300 to 7,000 a month. Rent was cheaper back in the days. Over populated area and jobs in the area not paying to match the cost of living 😭.

Perfect video to stumble across- hubs is taking over two family barber shops in the Miami area and we just found a condo in Edgewater where I can continue working my remote job. I’m ALWAYS looking for new places with a view to work at- it’s one thing Los Angeles doesn’t have much of.

Edgewater is a great area, a bit calmer than Brickell and not as walkable but there are definitely similarities! Good luck with the move 😊

We are moving from Beverly Hills/Westwood and it is loud and noisy and full of a lot of people- any form of view here is basically obstructed by thousands of tourist consistently and there’s really no place to actually have a calm morning walk anymore, not to mention the crime is basically out of control 🥲.

Loved everything about it, but moved back to Atlanta when my parents became ill. I can't wait to get back to FL and plan to set up in Miami this time. Been a resident of brickell heights for 5 years it’s absolutely not the same and the cost is becoming a complete ripoff, which is why half the restaurants are opening and closing in a year. (Wet, sushi by boo, made in Italy, stanzione 87, Chi, est 1987, Toscano divino, Hampton social is in trouble, Negroni never even opened)

I reside in Las Vegas and work for an Interpreting Agency out of California as an Independant Contracter. it doesn't matter how smart someone is about their budget if they are only making an average salary and rent is 3000 for a one bedroom. that is the majority of the average person's paycheck. the person has to make over the average salary which is 60k gross if they want to make rent on their own or make around average plus and split rent with someone.

Fun video. I’m in SW Florida and since I work remotely for a west coast based company, my schedule is similar to yours. Take advantage of the morning while it’s cooler outside. Enjoy Miami. I lived on the beach for 20 years but left for a quieter part of the state. Miami is wonderful but it wears you out after a while. Traffic, people, etc. Glad I found you. ❤
