When I lived in Israel, I shared an apartment with a jewish guy who grew up in Singapore. He had an American accent but there was something a little off about it as well. According to him, the jewish community is very rich, and his family were "poor" in comparison to some others there. He had serious issues with his mother, he was always going on and on about how much he hated her, how shitty his childhood was because of her, how controlling she was and how she ruined his dad's life. He was working as a diamond cutter and made good money, but he had a serious drug problem, which was why he was living in Israel in the first place. When his grandmother died, he expected to receive a big inheritance. A few weeks later, he told me that his mom told the grandmother to cut him out of the will or he would spend all the money on drugs and die.....his siblings got a few million dollars each and he got NOTHING.

Lol so one day as a joke i said to them im actually Jewish.. And the surprised look that they have was beyond. That friend(were very good friends actually)just turned away and stopped talking to me, told his my other muslim classmate all who too eventually kept a distance with me.. To the point where the news spread to the teacher straight to the principal(cause ig a jew in Malaysia is unthinkable) was called in to the principal office with some of the ustaz in the school to sit me down for a talk.. Later had to explain that i was actually not Jewish.. In conclusion its kinda ridiculous how one religion can hate a religion that much when they arent related to the Jew in Israel?? In the first place and also cause Islam themselves face the same discrimination in America.

It’s also insanely expensive. That thing of meat that you saw was $12.19 Singapore dollars. That’s $8.42 American. We can’t just go to McDonalds and get a burger for five bucks. A kosher burger in a restaurant here in New York State is at least fifteen dollars. My family rarely eats take out because it is so expensive. When my mom gets stuff from a kosher fried chicken place called Holy Schnitzel, it runs us at least $30. And that’s only for my Dad, brother, and me because she’s a vegetarian.
