Strong women, instead of playing victims they're taking matters into their arms
@Musila_muya702 жыл бұрын
This reminds me of a Comrade we used to call "Baragoi" who was once reprimanded by his own Mother arguing that he was still an armature in weapons after working for over ten years in police force. He once told me that his mom could dismantle and reassemble an AK 47 in less than three minutes and yet she had never attended any military academy. Fear those women.

Damn those guns are dope. The g3 will set you back 3,000 dollars in the USA. Those ak47 would fetch 1500 likely. Also they should not give these girls a 7.62x51 to train. You can see it kicks like a damn mule to them. But that’s what they got so props to them.

terrible situation. the current and previous governments has lost their responsibility. how can they arm villagers with guns and ask them to protect themselves???. whats the purpose of the Ministry of homeland or internal security???. seriously this people have completeley been let down by goverments. instead of girls attending education are busy defending themselves. reason being why these communities are lagging behind other communities in Kenya. This is very unfair. where is the goverment representative here?? sitting in the office chopping public money whilst husbands; wife's, and kids are left under the mercy of no one.

KE police will never dare to seek confrontation with Turkanas or pastoral communities for that matter. Polisi ameshikia G3 Kiganjo while these are teenage girls already with experience of marksmanship. The best the govt can do is to beef up security (na si zile PR stunts) and then have a friendly disarmament process otherwise wakipeleka force huko they'll be slaughtered.

😥😧Too bad but that's the sad reality. Hope the Nigerian situation doesn't degenerate to this! No thanks to jihadist herdsmen & bandits killing, maiming & kidnapping for ransom innocent citizens. Some entire villages have been wiped off! Unfortunately, most of these heinous crimes would evade media attention or played down as farmer-herders clashes which it's not in order not to give a religious coloration to it(Talk about the big elephant in the room). A concerted effort must be made to address the plight of these many vulnerable communities (A right to life is a fundamental human right). Weapons, though a means of self-defense, being awash everywhere I think doesn't really aid world peace.
