4:53 I LOVED your marveling so over Reid's 2 bobcats fighting in a burlap bag solo..He is ranked among the top 50 G.O.A.T's in a recent Rolling Stone poll..And it's one the hardest to play on the Xbox " Guitar Hero" game..Saw lots of players wreck fingers trying! I saw them back in March this year, didn't even realize they were still around. Sounded great, though a bit grayer lol. They opened for Extreme which had a new album last year, first time in like 15 years or so. You should do their new stuff if you haven't, it rocks. Songs like "Rise", "#Rebel", and a few other notables.

You should have really checked out the official video for this song. I don't know if you know that this is an all black rock band from NYC. They won several grammy awards between 1988-1990. You should definitely check out the video for their song, "Love Rears It's Ugly Head"

Not a hair band. You're not the first to be mesmerized by Vernon Reid's playing, he was amazing (probably still is though I don't know). Seems like a good dude, and good follow on twitter fyi. A lot of Living Colour was very heavy, but they've got a lot of influences that melt into their songs. Would suggest Elvis is Dead, Nothingness, Love Rears It's Ugly Head, or you could just put on Time's Up really loud and listen to the whole thing!

Once again, the lyrical meaning of this song was lost. The only thing similar between Jimi Hendrix and Vernon Reid is the they are/were black musicians. It ends there. There guitar styles are not even close after that. Both are/were great guitarists, but style wise they're not even close to being similar. Please, Please, Please don't compare them just because they happen to be black guitarists. I'm sure both guitarists would hate that. I saw them both in concert, and yes, I am that old.
