the most under-rated band of all time? Vernon Reid the modern day version of jimi hendrix. Doug Wimbish who is in his own area code in bass playing. Corey Glover who goes from motown r&b crooner to a heavy metal screamer in a heartbeat, and the eight wonder of the world Will calhoun. yeah this is the greatest band from the past 25 years in rock.
@StaticYonder3 жыл бұрын
A fucking men! Especially regarding Vernon and Corey. His Heavy Metal screams are fucking monolithic. He's better than most metal singers, to the point where his run of Painkiller with Judas Priestess blew the Metal God out of the water

I don’t know man they could be the most underrated but out of Janes addiction, extreme, Mudhoney, Stone roses

@@chuckenmcnuggets4464 Do any of those bands have a song that is more revolent 34 years after it's release then what Living Colour has with Cult of Personality?
@benie5752 жыл бұрын
@@StaticYonder Corey's Vocals are better today then when they started. Name another singer who's voice has aged and got deeper and more bad ass. Dio is the closest I can think of, or Mike Patton today.

underrated for their time, but this shows they haven't stood the test of time. this sounds like shit, good song or not.

Vernon is one of those innovative guitarists. He plays from his heart and not so much from his head.

I think the term "underated" I see so much doesn't even do them justice. I think "under-noticed" is better? All elements of their musical messages aren't heard enough", but ai tell you, these guys taught me how to truly play each instruments as a teen and are a huge part of my musical profession. Brilliant. And their newest album "SHADE" is just awesome

Cory can do what ever he wants with a voice like that.. he is equally at home in the blues or Jazz, soul... perhaps one of the finest male voices out there.

Most especially *for that time* they owned their own hard rock lane that they themselves carved out. A soulful, funky uptempo groove with amazing vocals and killer one of the best ever lead guitar.

That's about as LIVE as you can get!! When they're gone maybe the rest of the world will miss em. Vernon has carried Jimi's spirit more than anyone else...,and Jimi hasn't a patch on him!! " Sing it Corey!". Love from Ireland.
