Thank you for highlighting the terrible conditions at this awful place, I see from other videos they have free range areas but they've got lions, tigers and bears in the same style cages too. Hope they don't still do the monkey theatre.

You know better than me. I hardly find time to see those bears, lions, and tigers in the same style cages. It was so depressing. I managed to see ring-tailed lemurs and black-and-white ruffed lemurs in a separate house, but with the same noise from the circuit. Unfortunately, they are still doing the monkey theater, and I kind of avoided watching it. I knew I couldn't handle it if I watched it.

@ZoosForConservation The video I watched was from 2 years ago, they thought the place was wonderful...there's a drive through bit where they had 5 or 6 lionesses, at least they had grass, then the tour of those ghastly cages - male lion, tiger, bear, all on concrete with no bedding and the same sized cage. The theatre was this poor macaque in a dress performing tricks on stilts 💔
How is this place allowed to remain open? And all day they have to listen to that racket from Ebisu racing circuit. Still watching in horror and disbelief....

The noise from the circuit was horrifying. Thank you, Anne, for watching the video.🙏

@ZoosForConservation and Umezo has been there since 2001...to take a quote from another comment here "what sin did they commit?" Heartbreaking. I hope your many appeals to the welfare groups have an effect ❤
