So happy to share my home and renovations! It was so much fun and I really do love my city! Just a clarification, my HOA fees not only include my utilities, but my taxes as well. We have maintenance in the building, a pool and a 24 hour front desk staff so totally worth it!!

@@s.s.tillmanesq.305 from what I gathered, the cost of the property is significantly cheaper than properties in the area because it’s generally cash and you don’t own your housing per se, you own a percentage of the building in its entirety. With far less space in Toronto, I live in Windsor, Ontario where our housing is "considered to be the cheapest in Canada". Our housing prices in Windsor have sky rocketed to the point of primarily, only people living outside of Windsor can afford to buy a home. It's gotten crazy to the point people are bidding on rental properties! Buying a fixer upper 800 sq ft house here can still cost $250,000+.
@sm3675
@sm3675 2 жыл бұрын
@@mzlady1128 not only Toronto, it's the whole of Ontario. Our houses are not for families, they're for investors. The investors own the rentals, they buy the houses, and competing with them is hard. Living in Mississauga, our city used to be an escape from the prices of Toronto 10 years ago. Now the houses are even more expensive. It's sad and depressing for us and the future generations to come. But on one hand all of these new developments can maybe ease the prices in the future. Over 8 thousand units are being constructed (or to be in the coming years) near my house. Many condos.

All property has taxes and insurance, her HOA covers those Taxes and Insurance, as well as utilities. It’s an asset, she has equity, it could be income producing in the future..to present sense she’s travels frequently. So technically its a remarkable deal. Most people are paying $1300 rent on one apartment & That’s doesn’t include Utilities.
