Living in an Off-Grid Log Cabin in the Forest. Building a House. Installed a Stove in a Hut

Today we had the first snow. So it's time to install a stove in my cabin in the woods. In this video, I installed the stove and spent two nights there. I managed to warm up the room to 50 degrees. Now we are not afraid of any frosts. I also made a delicious potato casserole on the stove and made a railing by my hut. Thank you for watching. Agree with everyone’s reaction to this video! Watched this 3 times, the cabin is so beautiful at night, so peaceful hearing the rain while you worked outside, the dinner looked amazing, it really looks like a much more satisfying way to live compared to our modern lifestyle .

Je lui ai mis un petit commentaire. Moi c"est mon deuxième poële que j'ai, et avant j'avais un 'insert'. Avec l'espérience, la prochaine fois il mettra un tube coudée en deux fois, et donc plus long á l'intérieur, pour récupérer les calories. Sinon, il va chauffer les petits zoiseaux, et son chauffage n'aura pas un très bon rendement.

Bonsoir, Cela fait plaisir de vous revoir à l'oeuvre pour améliorer le confort de cette belle cabane ... C'est bien plus agréable maintenant que vous avez installé ce beau petit fourneau. Car, avec l'hiver qui s'installe, c'était bien nécessaire. Vous avez vraiment fait du beau travail en ce qui concerne l'installation avec l'isolation thermique en alu. + la cheminée. Cela doit être très agréable de passer du temps pour se resourcer dans cette belle nature et en supplément ; une bonne chaleur au feu de bois. Bravo ! Et ce repas que vous avez mijoter sur le fourneau, avait l'air vraiment délicieux ! Merci, de faire partager tout cela, C'est magnifique !

Un consejo , para un óptimo y rápido fuego. Cuando ponga los troncos en la estufa , hágalo en forma de cruz. Esto es , unos , longitudinalmente , otros , transversalmente. Así conseguirémos un mayor flujo de oxígeno entre la madera. Compruébelo. Ya verá que potente y rápido fuego para cocinar. Magnífica cabaña !!

Nice job 👍 but you need a screen on top of the tube of your stove so that the ashes don't blow back onto your cabin and start the roof on fire 🔥🔥

Place some rocks under your stove to absorb the heat back into your cabin. Your other wall needs to be covered with that metallic material. Any scraps left put behind / under your candles and lantern to reflect more light into the cabin..

nice addition of the woodstove. I'd recommend a little all weather duct tape to secure the roof patch in place at the very least so you can avoid water from dripping in underneath as the snow melts from the heat, or to keep rain out for that matter. Looks very cozy now, indeed!
