My friend in Oregon said ,they closed the self check outs at Walmart and now charge $100.00 a year to use them. Workers said ,they want to become like Amazon. Here in California it looks like they will be doing the same.

The patchwork paint is what is used to cover graffiti. Graffiti can happen almost daily in some parts of town. The paint is used to try and deter this. It only has to be similar in color because it could be, being painted on a daily basis in some circumstances. There are actual graffiti teams whose sole purpose is to cover tagging, which helps in suppressing gang control over certain neighborhoods. This is the sad reality of life in Los Angeles, CA.

They have a rapid graffiti response team in Phoenix too! Guaranteed removal within 24hrs but it doesn’t look like patch work.

New Idaho resident here. The quality of healthcare is absolute garbage. This nonsensical “slower pace of living” is code for nobody cares, nobody calls you back and there is no urgency to your medical issue. The dentists are just as bad. Good luck finding a dentist who is open on Friday, much less the weekend. You can tell how worthless this info is by her number one and two choices which are shopping or access to unlocked lotion and free grocery bags. And by the way, all local Idaho Walmart’s just reduced the size of self check out due to theft. What a joke.

Born in Idaho, lived in Boise/Meridian for 11 years until 2018. Overall we enjoyed our experience there but the influx and traffic problems got to be too much. We moved out of the burbs to a nice community outside of Boise and commuted for a few years, This was a big improvement but we ultimately left the area for something better.

Where in the South? I (Rachel) lived in GA for a few years and the fried chicken dinner in Star at PROOF is really good! Favorite breakfast is surprisingly a chain, the name of it is, The Griddle. I do agree restaurants are hit and miss out here so I’m trying to think. Lemontree makes great sandwiches. Amano in Caldwell is super good. Wylder in Boise is super good too.

@livinginidaho67509 ай бұрын
Thank you 🙏 the past couple vids cover those topics. The job market is soft and that’s cause we don’t have enough of them. There is a HUGE demand for businesses here. Healthcare is also in demand. Taxes are minimal (IMO). Property taxes are on a levy rate so basically less than 1% property value. There is income tax and sales tax but both are reasonable.
@scrwwea_nhl_hut52888 ай бұрын
Recent transplant to Idaho. Let me be brutally honest. There is no job market here unless you want to work in retail or a call center. If you are an educated professional, do NOT move here without securing a job. I moved here months ago and havent secured a job, only had one interview and have 15 years of experience and an advanced degree. Also, its not as community based, value centric and conservative as you might think. Lots of churches doing their own thing, running very progressive Christian services, not adhering to biblical teachings or being very obedient. Being here is very different than visiting or watching in on KZbin. Ive heard the North is very different is some regards but the weather is much more challenging and the job market even worse.

Shoot me an email and I give you my cell number so we can chat. Unfortunately the NAR (new apostolic reformation) movement has infiltrated churches all across the US and it’s not easy to find a theologically sound church anymore. I can help with that and some of the other things you mentioned. I know you’ve already moved and don’t need a realtor, but I don’t want you here and feeling how you are when I have solutions.
