I think it would not have hurt if you explained that Clayton is the county seat for St. Louis county. The courthouse, justice center and government offices, but it's also a business district. And, for anyone who might consider public transport, Metro Link has a station stop there.

Ucity is a lot cheaper, has the demlar loop, more land/people. Clayton has the county jail & rich people houses . Simple

University City Missouri has a urban feel as well especially with the Delmar loop. Also other parts of St.Louis County that have that Urban vibe other than Clayton and University City would be Webster Groves, Maplewood, Brentwood, and Richmond Heights.

I grew up on Pennsylvania Ave in U. City, and Delmar Loop was definitely the hang out location as well as Central West End for us back in the day. I left after graduation from (U. City High class of '83) for the Military and only came back to visit family after that. But seeing my neighborhood sort of makes me a little homesick and emotional 😂

I use to live in Creve Coeur right off Ladue Road and worked in Clayton years ao and loved it!

The Loop, -Downtown U.City. I grew up hanging out there. Was within walking distance. One thing you missed. Clayton is [ or at least WAS] the County Seat for St.Louis County. 📻🙂

I live in each city for over 10 years. I NEVER had a positive interaction with anyone associated with the government City of Clayton. ALWAYS had a great experience with everyone in U.City government.

Definitely haven't lived in EVERY part of STL, but I've lived in a couple places in STL county, worked all over - U City, O'Fallon, Lake St. Louis, Des Peres, South City, nowadays I'm in all parts of town with clients or meeting investors.
