Since my first vlog was a hit, I decided to share more of my life with you and take you through a Sunday in Ceret. In this video, you’ll see the beloved summer tradition in my village called St. John's Fire which marks the beginning of summer.
But that's not all! I explore the rich art scene in the charming town of Céret.

I got up and did my 1hr of exercise, then ate breakfast, then I found an interesting video on black English and another video on Italian and then voila, I found your video. OH MY GOODNESS, I LOVE THIS! I'm crying real tears watching this. Patricia, you're living the life I've always dreamed about! This town seems perfect for one of my extended stays. There are about a dozen places around the world where I want to live 4-6 months of each year. I love the artwork in this vlog, the authentic local culture, and how your personality comes out in your vlogs. I've saved this to my relocation videos. Now to earn the money to afford it..... I've just come back from working a double (16 hours) at my security job; need about a thousand more of those LOL. Blessings from The Bahamas!

Such a beautiful part of the planet earth! In 2017 I happened to be in A Coruña Spain for their version of the same holiday, "San João" - it was magic.

Content idea which you can ignore 😀 but 14 Juliette is almost here. When our son was little, he used to visit his aunt who left Paris for the area around l’Abbaye de Fontevraud. I have photos of him in the village square in Couzièrs having so much fun on 14 Juliette with the tables set up for communal eating & lots of fun things to do. May consider a video on that in your village. Bonne fête!

You asked what viewers liked most. Of course, the feu de Saint Jean was fun! I also liked your tour of the village the ateliers, etc. People who’ve never been to France think of Paris, & don’t understand the joys of life in village & smaller cities. I've gotten used to hearing myself speak English without cringing, but not so with French.😏 Thank you for saying this. Making friends is something I had to focus on in the beginning since I have introverted tendencies. Now that I've lived in the same place for over five years, I think that helps people open up and be more friendly toward me and makes me feel like I belong. I posted a few videos on making friends. Merci. Quand j'habitais à Perpignan je suis allée au marché à Céret. De cette façon j'ai trouvé Céret. Vous pourriez chercher les agences immobiliers à Céret pour trouver un appartement. Bon courage !

You are welcome. I found my apartments through VRBO. They aren't typical unfurnished apartments but I negotiated a long-term rate. You might try www.seloger.com/ for a more traditional apartment.

Thanks for these videos..I'm learning a lot! Can you have an online source of income while living in France as an American citizen on a long stay visa? I know working is not allowed on these types of visa, but I'm not sure if all types of work are excluded or not. Thanks again!

You are welcome. France doesn't have a digital nomad visa. My interpretation of the long-stay visitor visa is that you can't work online. But some people say you can. I'm not trying to be evasive but this seems to be a question that not everyone agrees on.
