Hanover local 2008 . Raised both kids here. My youngest and his friend were chased from the square from a meth head trying to bite him . And the meth head that broke into my home . I pulled knife on him and got his wallet and 4 cops passed the burgler and i on the street while on 911. . One star do not recommend .

Does the mall and movie theater exist there anymore? If not, is there any place to shop other than Wal-mart?

The mall is still here and undergoing a revival, along with the theater near the Home Depot. There are dozens of great shopping opportunities around Hanover, the Outlets just up the road, and Target, boutiques, and more.

House prices may be much more affordable than Maryland. But the property taxes are around 3.3%. Unreal.

@@LivingInPennsylvaniaPA My York County, PA property taxes are around $800 per month. That used to be monthly rent pre-Covid. Not a good place for retirees on a fixed-income.

Yes we have 2 giants, 2 Weis markets, a Grocert outlet and 2 Walmarts in town, and we also have a Sonnewalds natural market about 15 mins away. Internet we have comcast and glofiber, I use AT&T air Wi-Fi for my house

Yes I would say they do, although there also could currently be an issue of consistent demand.
