Finding an apartment to rent in Hong Kong is tough! As soon as you think you've got a spot locked in, the landlord calls to tell you, "Sorry, but the place is now taken."
With so many of us using the same sites, applying the same filters, and looking for the same conveniences, us residents of Hong Kong have nearly all found ourselves living in one of the same five areas.
In this video, you'll walk through the streets, go into the shops, and go past the markets that sit right outside my studio apartment in Mong Kok, Hong Kong's busiest and most populated residential area.
A few of the places shown include:
Argyle St & Yeung Choi St: A street full of shops selling consumer products, cosmetics and discounted books
Mongkok Computer Centre: A multiple story market selling all things electronic
Portland St: Hong Kong's notorious red-light street
If you live in HK or want to come, let me know where you're most interested in checking out by leaving a comment below.
Cheers!
