@PersonalFinancebyChandu After throwing all personal finance videos into mixey . I came up with few points. > We shouldn't just invest everthing in equity > Equity Holding should be 100 - age % > Debt Holding - Age % > We shouldn't invest everything in equity rather we should maintain a portifolio. > Enter in staggered manner I.e sip and Exit in staggered manner I.e swp not in lumpsum as we can't time the market My Portifolio : I invest 20 % of my salary in below portifolio 60 % - Indian Mutual Funds (large, mid, small and "micro cap" as well) 20 % - US ETF's actually its 10% only in s&p 500 etf by vangaurd(voo) but I found another etf soxx(semiconductor etf) offered by Blackrock asset management company. why US ? If anything happens in india like if congress wins US market is not affected for diversification purpose. 10 % - gold (half in sgb as you said and half in gold etf as gold etf offers liquidity) why gold ? gold acts like hedging tool in economic crisis situation. 10 % - RIET's - commercial real estate investment which offers regular good dividend Earlier I used to invest Silver ETF and Invits Silver performs when economy is good but when to enter and when to exit we need to know Invits - these offer better dividend than riets but sensitive to interest rates you too please explore If i miss anything and I suggest users who ever investing you shouldn't invest and forget and believe speculation investors should travel with market by understanding businesses and economics and then take calls accordingly. people who understand economics and businesses and stay in market till last will only be successful people

Beleive in every asset like 1) Stock Market 2) Mutual Funds 3) Gold 4) Real Estate 5) Government Securities and Treasury Bills. @PersonalFinancebyChandu True investors at young age can take risk so they can invest in equity when they are getting older it's good to move safer instruments by following 100 - age % such that even at 60 we will have 40 % Equity Holding which leads to our money does ever lasting plus some safety.
