Key takeaways: 1. choose nifty index funds(min risk) and invest 50% of investment amount in index funds for safety. 2. dont buy too much ELSS funds. 3. choose fixed income and equity asset class funds 4. dont worry about taxes and dont buy low cost stocks like 100 or 200rs 5. Decide investment amount based on 10% returns(min) expectation 6. Extra private health insurance needed for corporate insurance holding employees for safety. 7. Buy atleast 2 or 3cr term insurance not 1cr to beat inflation. 8. Don't choose fund based on last 1 yr returns alone. Check performance for all yrs..

If you see say or feel like this, it is very difficult to have saving, forgot about investments.i always keep my mindset by reducing my salary with 20% less from beginning . So with 80% salary i need to plan the above u said.. of course we need to sacrifice few things until we have some money saved in future. i dont have car and take rental when it is needed...i too have everything u said above.. one thing i started investments late by 35 age.. till then i was investing in land and gold only. Good luck for investments.
