Dirt bike capital of BC hands down no other city compares. The freedom there is absolutely awesome with grasslands, mountains and lakes to explore. buy a dual purpose or a xc dirt bike is the best investment

Ha! I noticed you are from Reno. We moved to Kamloops from Carson City 2 years ago. It is NOWHERE near as sunny here as Northern Nevada! :)

@@sllehmann Oh, no way! My husband is Canadian, from Prince George and he would love to move back. I love BC, but I don't know If I could handle the winters. I have only driven through Kamloops. I hope the housing market is in full swing there!

@@renosparkslivingwithlarene5283 Don't move to Prince George then! Winters are pretty rough up there! Kamloops is sunny by Canadian standards, but we always chuckle when they say it is a "semi desert". Not even close to Nevada. Winters can be quite gloomy. We also chuckle when they say it is windy here. That is one really good thing: almost zero wind compared to Nevada! Last year Kamloops recorded their highest wind gust of all time, and it was like 42 mph. When the wind died down to that in Carson City, it was time to go outside and have a picnic!

I am in B.C. too , Boulder City Nevada outside Vegas, there's no music scene in kamloops. . I can bring a huge music scene with me and Rick Barker Taylor Swifts manager. But the town would have to come up with some cash for a spectacular concert ballroom. It is quite beautiful there just boring. Thank you for the video 😎👍

I make the trip to visit the family every year. At Christmas too! So I come through valemount, blue river, Clearwater, and yes it can be sketchy at times! And they live in Aberdeen. So coming into civilization as I call it lol,, I really do enjoy the change from northern Alberta! I love how long a twoonie lasts at the car washes down there 👍

We have gorgeous homes in Québec for $200 000 to $300 000. BC is outrageous. No way to live as a single occupant anywhere even in appartment. BC stands for "bring cash".......

Negatives transit not very good poor bus shelters. City can get very dusty and dirty. Lack of affordable rental housing. Lack of decent Performing Arts Centre.

North shore 100% CON! Hate that end of town.. always cops drugs and drama! (Avoid if you have family setting ) It’s the hasting of the interior / like VAN :( sadly because the land is beautiful If you want good people stay south to east
