Totally agree with the TexMex food in Kingwood. We moved to Kingwood June 22. We’re came from McAllen Texas and the authentic Mexican food down there can’t be beat

Oh we love it here Rene! The trees, the scenery, HEB is so glamorous, my daughter loves Kingwood High and it’s so peaceful here. Love watching your videos! Keeps me up to speed with what’s going on up here. Gotta check out Torchy’s next and get a photo of that flood line lol

The Harvey flood was a man made accident, done in Conroe (upstream) and preventions are in place now. Let’s not forget that tons of dredging has, is and will continue after decades of neglect on Lake Houston. Also a ginormous retention pond ( more like a small lake) is nearing completion.

Exactly! I find myself explaining this all the time. There are so many people that want to live in Kingwood but hear other people say “Kingwood floods all the time”. I think people say that because of Harvey, but like you said it wasn’t even the hurricane that flooded Kingwood. There’s a lot of misinformation out there.

That Kingwood map is missing part of Kingwood that is the Porter Zip but technically Kingwood (Houston and Harris). Chachis is the best in area and you kind of touched on it. Their Chachis Next Door is actually more Mexican and less Tex Mex

I’ve never been but the stadium is in East Downtown, close to Minute Maid Stadium where the Astros play. Cool little spot downtown with a lot of new restaurants, bars and entertainment close by.

We attend a great Church in Humble called United City Church. There’s also Woodridge Baptist, St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 2nd Baptist to name a few…there’s literally like 10 churches within a few miles of each other lol

Yes Kingwood is known for not having sidewalks, I’ve always felt like it’s because we have 75+ miles of greenbelt trails that snake through the entire area. If you’re going for a walk, bike ride, run etc most people use the trails.
