I moved to Lake Wylie in 1996. It was such a wonderful community then. Seemed like everyone, Knew everyone. Small loving community. After 23 years, I left. Traffic got out of control. Plus the roads turned into a nightmare. I am blessed to have experienced the loving, simple side of Lake Wylie. :-)

Town homes start in the 300's some single families start in the mid 400's, the median for lake Wylie was over 600K and you can spend well over 1M on the water. I feel like you need to sell the point of living on lake wylie vs lake Norman. Both are great, different pros and cons. Different lake life, different investment, different market but still an interesting comparison. Get an NC license too if you don't already
