Agree with your comment about "most" retailers are in Minot. I wish we had a Cosco or a Sam's Club. There are several grocery options too, other than Target. You drove by the recently closed Trinity downtown hospital. They have moved out to the south side of town to a beautiful new campus. Also, we have a great YMCA. Most folks that move here love the outdoor opportunities, including great hunting and fishing. The school system is great. The school system is less likely to indoctrinate your children with woke ideology.

I’m a propane delivery driver from Memphis, Tennessee. Considering moving up to Minot to work for the oil company for significantly more money. Is there many options for renting a house? Seems like a decent place to move, especially for a career changing opportunity. My mom worries about me being isolated. Would love to get some feedback

It’s honestly easier to buy a home for most people. The state of North Dakota backs the local lenders with a 1/2 % down loan program making it very easy for anyone with living wage (or above) employment to buy a home here. Call/text us to discuss this option. 701-253-1872.

Why do they call it the “Magic City?”
@LivinginNorthDakota
@LivinginNorthDakota 9 ай бұрын
From Google: Minot came into existence in 1886, after the Great Northern Railway laid track through the area. A tent town sprang up overnight, as if by "magic", giving Minot its first nickname, the Magic City; in the next five months, the population increased to over 5,000, further bolstering the nickname.

@@LivinginNorthDakota I thought only the finest went there! 😎 Liked your Williston video in particular. My wife might contact you later. Try to make more videos in the Bakken area if you can (Tioga, etc.). With a Republican administration, things might change, right? God bless… 🙏🏻 Carry on the good work. & you might include lots/land/farmland in your videos, to make them more comprehensive ones, ND-wise. Take care.

You might in your Republican thinking ask why and how the Bank of North Dakota came to be and why ND has so many Socialist Institutions. Or read about the Non-partisan League. Oh, and this: without the cash-flow from the Federal government ND would be a failed state. ND Is nothing but a Welfare Queen. Republican Queens. Sorry @@issenvan1050 ND Republicans are not what they say and think they are. ND is a financial JOKE

Theirs only a very little black people here in North Dakota you won't see them on a daily basis but you do see them. I have only been living here in Minot for 3 weeks and in my 3weekd of living here I've only seen only 3 black folks so we do have them you just won't see that many tho. Most of them don't live here that long long as most of them where sent here by the military or for other businesses that transfer them here only a tiny amount actually lives here as a long time residence according to the Minot official page and according to my distance cousin who lived here her whole life claimed.
